I’ve been promising this video to you guys and thought it was finally time to reveal some of my tips & tricks with how I built my wardrobe over time. I forgot to mention it in the video, but don’t expect this to happen over a short period of time - my wardrobe has been years in the making. Be smart with your money, use all the tools you have at your disposal and have fun!

Great Take/advice man. In my opinion, creating longevity within a wardrobe is so important. Disciplining yourself in saving up and acquiring less, good items that you may be able to sell in the long run. Personally speaking, the objective should be to grow your style with the little you have first, then slowly build your smart wardrobe. i think. great content

What I do with my wardrobe is buy/keep all the essentials and over time buy more flashy pieces as supposed to having a whole wardrobe full of higher end things that might not work together. I also once and I while do my own custom pieces whether it be pants, denim jackets, ect. This not only keeps my wardrobe a bit fresh but it’s much better than just throwing it away.
In my opinion this is the greatest video you have ever made. Really interesting and nice to watch keep it up!

My tips
1.Outerwear are definitely the most important pieces, but be specific on what types of outerwear you like and what fabric is versatile for you to wear in multiple seasons of the year. i.e. Get a lighter one for spring, autumn and get a thicker one for winter.
2. Buy a really good smooth premium cotton basic T-shirt in white or black, it will last very long and stay in shape, which is worth the money.
3. Invest in a good pair of designer feature jeans to your liking(Basic jeans don't have a high resell value even if it's a premium brand). Embroidery, side panels, distress, coating etc. This is where you can look into as different types have different resell values(even if they are worn) and you can get most of your money back.
4. Depend on where you are in the world, choose other layering pieces wisely according to the local climate(i.e. a cashmere sweater, a tweed/wool overshirt, a premium cotton hoodie or viscose shorts)
5. Buy stylish leather shoes or boots with high resell value(Dior, Saint Laurent, Guidi, Layer 0 etc)

Uniqlo FTW when it comes to essentials. As for some sought after statement pieces, those tend to sell out fast and are then either hard to find or too expensive on the re sale market.

Don't stress to much about clothing mate, you've got a whole life ahead of you. At the end of the day it's superficial.
to be honest you'll get a way better feel of fashion when you get in your 20's, so you can save that money already and really get a sense of your own style
Yo,why this channel so small? I don't mean this rudely, is just cause other fashion channels have more subscribers, when the is just as good or better. I know his style isn't for everyone, but dare I say another British youtuber dresses much worse and has more subs.

Others are more relatable to do fashion with, not everyone can afford a full haider fit with balenciaga boots.
yes I understand, thats I why I said his style isn't for everyone. I can't afford a full Ackerman fit with some Wyatts, but the thing with this other youtuber I mentioned is that he doesn't style his pieces to the full potential, just doing the most basic outfits available, when the pieces can be used much better. Since you mentioned this as well, he has a triple s (wow much money, very expensive), and he styled it with skinny jeans.
Great video dude! I often find I wear my stuff way too hard for resale (jeans until they're riddled with holes), which isn't necessarily the smartest idea when discussing designer pieces. How do you avoid wear and tear to stick within one in-one out?
It might not necessarily be the best idea, but I love that! Especially with jeans, wear them to core - then repair the holes and wear them some more! You get your bang for your buck, and you can save the money you’d spend on a new pair somewhere else. Or save that money.

the problem i'm having right now is with trousers. all the good ones seem to go so quickly and the other options just don't cut it for me.
Although I agree with what you said about fast fashion/zara type brands, I do think it's fine to buy a piece if you like it since you're not spending that much in the first place.
For sure ... but next thing you know, you end up buying loads of things because they’re ‘inexpensive’ and you don’t end up wearing them (it’s an extreme example, but I know plenty of people who do that)

Do you think it also has something to do with the city you live in? Especially in terms of sample sales, plugs, and looking for people who are willing to spend on the clothing you sell.
Hmmm, I’d say yes to sample sales. Plugs were acquired even before I moved to Central London, but being in a bigger city definitely helps! And the last point - I’d disagree, with everything being online and selling platforms being used throughout the world, for as long as you buy smart & well, you’ll have buyers all over the world!

Pound is our currency here in the UK. So £1 per every time I wear it, if I buy something for £50 - I better see myself wearing this pieces on 50 different days/occasions ... or at least, that's the theory behind it.
