I always had to rake and sweep at every job I ever got as a tree company. I am so happy u didn’t venture too far in to a tree service. Unless u have millions of credit to get these big new grapples trucks then u would just b another one of us like me.

@@drk218 So true. The outdoor family space is visible now with all it's potential. A fire pit, cooking area or even to frame the pool with their own landscape choice, all is possible now thanks to Johns work, and watching it come into focus like this is a real hoot.

While working alone is enjoyable to me also, it's a good change of pace to look around and know someone's got your back. Nice to see you have help. Makes the day go faster. Lane seems like a real good kid. If he sticks around, you should let us know more about him. But you’ve got to love a college kid with the gumption to get his own Bobcat CTL and subcontract himself out. It’s a win-win relationship: you get help and he gets to learn from the old master. Maybe you’re looking at a future employee - or partner. Whatever, this kid’s not afraid to work, so hooray for you, Jon.

There’s something about you now 🤔 you actually look like you’re kinda enjoying the single employee direction that you have moved into? I’m self employed and I work alone as a welder fabricator and I’ve tried the hired hand’s and boss thing but after awhile it seemed like I was doing most of the work and the only one not getting paid 😁. Then my wife saw what was going on and asked me how I was doing 😉 and I knew it was time to let everyone go and now I’m like you back to where I started and I couldn’t be happier. Love you brother 🙏🏼❤️ Habakkuk 3:17-19

My four cents (inflation)…if I were the owners I would plant clover to keep the area around the pool green and easy to maintain. It grows fairly quickly and just needs a haircut about every 2-3 weeks once established.
Also, pressure wash the pool deck. 😉
Great job, Lane! Thanks for helping our buddy, Jon! 😊 The property looks so much better!!

Question: Why not use those thick blades on the weed thingiemejig (hihi, name totally gone at this moment 🤔😁 ) instead of the nylon threading? It's absolutely a question out of the blue, I am very much not a expert 😁 but those blades seem to live longer.. unless they're no good for that specific job I guess..
But WOW!! What a transformation! Looking real good! 😎
And I honestly never ever saw it coming.. that big mulching mower eating not just the logical thing, brush and trees and stumps but.... Fences!? Lol!! NEVER crossed my mind that this was even possible 😲 SO funny to see that.
Aren't you afraid that the nails and other iron stuff, a garden typically has laying around, dull down the mulcher faster?
But my compliments! This way they can make things around the pool to make it way more enjoyable instead of pulling every day leafs out of it and Especially at fall time. (I know, enough trees around still but not suffocating that pool anymore!
    Nice! 👌😎
