Warmi (Woman in the Native languages from the Andes Quechua and Aymara) is a new band of talented musicians, covering traditional Andean/Latin American music and playing original compositions.
Warmi was born during an event dedicated to the Cultural Resistance of the Indigenous people of the Abya Yala (America in their Native Language). Their mystic sounds are dedicated to Pachamama - Mother Earth, ancient cultures, women, children and all forms of life.
Warmi's performances include The Rich Mix, Passing Clouds, Bolivar Hall and St Ethelburgas among others.
Warmi are Phaxsi Coca and Vicki Cespedes (Bolivia) on Kena flutes and Panpipes; Paloma Palomino (Peru) on Charango, Guitar and Vocals; Veronica Arcila & Ingrid Rueda (Colombia) on Vocals, Guitar & Bass and Renu (UK/India) on Percussion.
