Absolutely terrific dancing on all levels. And we are all aware of the sacrifices that are needed to get there. But personally i find it a bit pity that in the WDC many couples have more or less the same style. Until a decade ago the big names like Valeri brought such distinct personalities to the table. For instance this quickstep, it is beyond being grounded, togetherness, control, etc..But regardiing the title of this video i would have expected somethintg of an out of this world *individual* performance, but sorry-again, despite we know the preps needed and besides i do like this couple- what sets them apart against other couples choreographic/performance wise? I see a bit restraint to be honest. In earlier days you got the feeling that couples almost really were flying. Why is no one taking some more 'of risk' these days in the non-WDSF world we wonder (except for Dragovic)..? Again, i do like both styles, so no hate at all, but maybe one can go into a discussion all together in all fairness and love ❤
WDO and WDC are more conservative and don't really reward and like innovation . It's dancing by the book , not bending the rules . That's why we probably see more or less the same style , which when it comes to ballroom , it's not that bad. We all love quality don't we ? When someone manages to be innovative , bend the rules to the max and have also quality, that's when the magic happens . (Segatori -Zharkov) In latin , I am for WDO and WDC totally because I don't like the way adult latin has gone in WDSF .
Hi. I watch a lot of ballroomvibez videos. They're great. There are some "shorts" I watch but I can't play them in slow motion. Does anyone know how to do this?
FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. Very PRECISE expression of music. Fantastic togetherness. Relaxed, change of speed. This makes it SO beautiful. The technique is top: feet under weight of body, control in the smallest detail, beautiful lady head and calm man's head.

It comes down to WDC judges looking for quality rather than choreography.
