  • Since 12th February 2024, new regulations require that planning applications submitted in England must show that a biodiversity net gain of at least 10% will be achieved, either on or off site. This could provide opportunities for farmers or landowners to get paid for delivery of habitat restoration or habitat creation projects.
This webinar addresses the questions we are being asked most frequently by farmers and landowners and includes insights from trusted professionals including agricultural solicitors, developers, and planning & development consultants.
    Frequently asked questions include:
    - Can I still farm the land if I enter into a BNG agreement?
    - Can I implement biodiversity projects alongside Countryside Stewardship?
    - Can I enter into a BNG agreement as a tenant farmer?
    - What could this market be worth to me?
    - What are the potential pitfalls I need to consider?
    - How can opportunities be brokered or facilitated?
