Namaskar, Welcome to Lunar Astro
Today’s topic is Ketu dasha, because there are many questions about bad Ketu dasha and facing problems during it. So let’s cover Ketu dasha today because when you know how a dasha behaves you have clarity about what to expect; when something is unexpected then you can worry about it. Like if you know it is Saturn’s dasha - Saturn is always at the back so you cannot have expectations from others at this time.
(Kurma Jayanti is approaching and remedies have been given in the magazine for people who have business problems, profession problems, relationship issues where you feel like no one respects you.)
Moreover we know that in Saturn’s dasha you will have to be the outcast, it is the outermost planet so you will be made to sit at the back. Do not expect respect, if you don’t have expectations the dasha will be good. This dasha makes you work very hard and drains you. When someone has Saturn in the 7th house a remedy is to stick to your marriage for the first 3 years and after that you will get used to the hard work. Because wherever Saturn sits it will make you work hard, without hard work it won’t give you anything. This is the expected result in the dasha of Saturn - if you expect that you will be able to rest and enjoy then it’s your fault not Saturn’s. So when you align and mentally prepare yourself according to the planet the dasha is good.
2:08 Let’s talk about Ketu Dasha. Ketu is a planet for which detecting the problem is difficult because the problems of Ketu are on a mental level. Reason being that Ketu and Rahu make up the axis of the moon - the south and north nodes. Whenever there is an axis around any planet that becomes the entry and exit point. For anyone to enter your heart, mind, or life, Rahu and Ketu are needed. You need Ketu to enter this world and Rahu to leave. Ketu is the south node, and Rahu the north node. So Ketu is connected to the center of the top of your head, so people with prominent Ketu have a risen (bulged) head. When Ketu is in the ascendant, with the ascendant lord, sitting powerfully, the top of the head is the distinctive feature.
Similarly Rahu represents the way out, the way to the underworld (Patal) and is connected to the soles of your feet. So when you are experiencing too much anxiety and can’t go to sleep apply coconut oil on the soles of your feet - Rahu represents the outer coconut and Moon the inner part of the coconut with the oil - so applying cool oil calms Rahu and you will be able to sleep. This is a simple remedy which can be linked to Rahu-Ketu. Likewise if experiencing anxiety related to Ketu you can massage oil on your head; this is the first remedy for the Ketu dasha.
When you make the Ketu yantra also a specific instruction has been given to use Black and White, or Read and Black, to create distortions. Even blankets for Ketu are black and white with distortions because whenever we talk about ghosts also lights flicker as when any energy comes from the sky it is not constant, it keeps fluctuating, making and breaking of connection takes place. Ketu is the significator of the 12th house which is the house of imagination, so when it sits in between the 5th and 9th house, that is the 1st house where you have to be present it makes the person prone to daydreaming. During the Ketu dasha you can expect that you will be lost in your own dream world where you will make your own small kingdom. For people with Ketu in the ascendant or with the ascendant lord they will always live in the imaginary kingdom that they have built around them.
Some yogas will give results only during the dasha, some yogas give results throughout the lifetime. Lifetime yogas come from the planets in the ascendant, where the ascendant lord sits, as these become a part of your personality. Planets that are exalted house wise not sign wise give results throughout the life, for example Jupiter in the fourth house in any sign is house wise exalted and in the tenth house in any sign is debilitated. Planets exalted based on the sign will give results only during the dasha.
During Ketu dasha a connection is formed with the outer world, the person starts building their dream world. Ketu is a wandering soul, in Ashwini nakshatra the soul is finding a body. In the Ketu dasha person becomes a wandering soul because it wants to find where it can get peace. A soul tries to find a body in a place and a family so that it’s journey can progress and the karma can be completed.
Couples who are having trouble conceiving or want a very good child, around 2-1 months before conceiving sleep on the floor and eat only satvik food to attract a good soul, as good souls will only go to good people.
During Ketu dasha the career starts suffering. One remedy is to apply oil on the head. Another thing that is taught in Ashrams and in spirituality to prominently increase intuition is to pour water on the head in the morning while taking bath. The water starts clearing the head and increases the intuition so that you will start sensing things. Many times during the class you may have observed that what I say is a part of intuition.
When Ketu dasha starts approaching as you connect to the outer world you start getting disinterested and disconnected from people around you. At this time one should start serving animals as their sensing and intuition powers are very high so they will be able to match your frequency. As you keep feeding animals Ketu dasha gets better. You can feed insects, they have high intuition as they live underground. Feed and take care of dogs, cats and as many animals as you can during the Ketu dasha.
A prominent thing to notice are that most accidents take place in the Ketu dasha. It does not mean Ketu is a karaka of or related to accidents or the 4th house. Vehicle is represented by the 4th house. Symbolic vehicles are assigned to the Gods like bull, Garuda, goat, as so on which in the present context would be our cars and other motor vehicles, which is signified by Ketu.
During this dasha you will experience problems in driving and vehicles. You should spend time maintaining and cleaning your vehicles and take good care of it, as you do this Ketu will start improving, this is a natural remedy. During this dasha people feel disinterested in others as they are trying to download information, so going to hilly and high areas that are above sea levels and closer to the sky will reduce anxiety. Here one can be at peace and easily connect with the upper world. If you cannot change your house at least once every two months try to visit a temple in a hilly region as this will immediately reduce the anxiety. The reason for the anxiety is because you are trying to connect to the outer world and download information to find the purpose of your life. Ketu is the soul which found the body to complete some karma, so in this dasha unless you fulfill your life purpose you will not be happy.

A simple technique is that whichever house Ketu sits in you have to leave that and go to a new place. For example in the 6th house it is servants or maternal family, 2nd house family, 5th house is children, 4th house is your own home. You have to leave this as when you will go to the new place you will suddenly rise in life. Ketu in the 10th house or with Saturn will have to leave his career, the same thing applies when Ketu will transit over Saturn. But this will be for a good reason as this is the purpose for which the soul took birth in this life so you should not be scared. Even as an astrologer if you come to me at this time I will suggest you to leave the job or other signification of that house, like Ketu in the 7th house find a new business partner or approach a new outlook towards your spouse because unless you do this you will face problems.
When Ketu connects you to the upper world only you can understand the experience, like painters and astrologers go into a trance as they work as now they find enjoyment only in their work they were born to do, and this phase only lasts for a certain period of time. When you work for the requirement of your soul others will talk about losses because they are only looking at monetary benefits while you are seeking soul benefits which will give peace to your soul. Someone with Venus Ketu combinations will marry someone who will complete them, and this person will not be liked by other members of the family. For instance Prince Harry has a combination of either Venus in Ketu nakshatra or Ketu in the 7th house and no one in his family likes the person he married. The decisions he has taken after getting married like leaving his title and the royal family, although questioned by others, is the requirement of his soul which would trouble him unless he did these things.
There is a reason why Ketu nakshatras are in the houses of Mars, Sun, Jupiter; in order to complete the requirements of Ketu one has to be very brave because you will have to take controversial decisions that will be questioned by others but only you can understand them. Ketu and Saturn combinations or Saturn in Ketu nakshatras give extraordinary careers but people who are not brave enough to do what needs to be done will face problems. Such a person will always told by others that some task is difficult or impossible, but because now this person is connected to the outside world so what he is delivering is actually being delivered through this persons body. The karma now is to go towards liberation.
The problem is that the world tries to program us using fear or guilt, like you have to study engineering or accounts otherwise things will go wrong, you have to buy insurance or this something bad will happen, or they will try to sell you things making you feel guilty about being fat /thin /dark /fair , etc. Now if the requirement of your soul is Saturn Ketu but you were programmed and made to do MBA marketing you will not be able to do it, and even if you do it you will not be able to find happiness.
Ketu will give results not only in it’s dasha, but also in dasha of sign lord, planet it is sitting with, natural house it is sitting in like Ketu in 4th house will give results in Moon dasha. During these dashas people come complaining about problems in job because the requirement of the soul is something else. In these cases astrologers, at least me and my students, will not try to save your job because you are only looking at your job and not the higher purpose.
Another remedy that everyone should do in this dasha is meditation in order to build your connection as then you will start receiving insights in your life.
The significance of wearing caps or covering the head can be seen, as all people related to various religions across the globe wear caps because it protects the energy of the head. If we look at traditional significant temples like Jyotirlingas and Shakti Peethas, a prominent feature is that these temples are all aligned with certain nakshatras, even the pyramids are aligned with the nakshatras. The tip of the temples or other religious places is made of gold or other extreme metal conductors and the rest of the structure is limestone which is an insulator, so when the energy of the nakshatra hits the tip it is transferred below where the main sanctum with the idols are there. This is why when you go to pray you are advised to cover your head so that this high energy does not hit you directly. This is also the significance of going to the temple as the energy is stored here. Also the sanctums in temples do not have lights, and they should not have lights as it will distort the energy.
Another remedy is to wake up at the time of Ketu, around 4:00-4:30 in the morning when it is still relatively dark and look the the brightest star in the sky. As you absorb the energy of the star you will start receiving intuition of things that are going to happen. People in the field of intuition like healing, astrology should definitely do this. The anxiety at the time period of Ketu, around 4 in the morning, is at its highest and that is why most nightmares come at these times or dreams that feel real come at this time because the intuition is high.
During the Ketu dasha to reduce the anxiety an easy and quick remedy is to make a upward triangle on a silver coin and wear it around your neck. Because the problems happen from the distortions in the signal due to the blockage in the head. Unless you clear this blockage and become a medium of energy and realize what work you should do, you will be troubled by the Ketu dasha. The day you get aligned with this dasha it becomes so benefic for you that you feel like it is the best dasha. Another point is that this dasha is for long journeys where you can take your longest jumps. The people who took the biggest leaps in their life were in the dasha of the planet that is sitting with Ketu or is the dispositor of Ketu (not necessarily only Ketu dasha). They did the work they believed to be the requirement of their soul.
So the dasha will be good as long as one is brave. That is why the nakshatras are in the active signs of 1, 5, and 9 where person can take initiatives. When Ketu is in reactive signs like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, in these dashas person has to wait and react and the person becomes picky. In such cases see which male planet is linked to Ketu and wear the stone of that planet in Ketu dasha - you will get directions in life. Ketu gives blockages in life like in the 4th house it gives heart blockages, and to avoid these blockages the male planets are needed.

My Ketu Dasha ended in 2021. I wish I had this kind of information 7 years ago when this dasha started. I collected some nuggets from universe during the dasha and a there was development of vairagya which I feel is blessing of this dasha. You observe and understand hypocrisy of whatever is happening in all aspects of life including the hypocrisy that you carried all along like some baggage. It is in fact the best dasha in terms of coming out of delusions and false identity.

Ketu in second house with Mangal(MARS), Taurus ascendant and Venus and mercury in 6th house and moon in 11th and Jupiter and sun in 5th house and Saturn in 9th house.
Here is my experience
1. Lost my job in MNC in the first month of ketu dasha
2. Went in isolation for preparing for job, and all of a sudden i felt enlightenment while coding and learning algorithm. Felt like i could frame all the things around and understand it.
3. Had to suddenly come back to home, all my interview preparation went in vain.
4.Ketu shukra antardasha, worked in family business helped family
5. till Ketu moon i was working on family business.
6.when ketu moon started i went back to main profession, started prep. for interview got into companies and started coding.

You are making lot of sense. I am currently in at a juncture that everything seems to be falling apart. Relations, things that I earned through very hard work all through life, it feels like as if this life was only meant to be to repay for past lives' dues. I am two years into the Ketu's Mahadasha, Shani's 7 1/2 is about at its end. Suddenly, one day, I don't know from where, the thought crossed my mind that I have to learn Jyotish. And I didn't have to look for lessons. One after the other youtube clips started appearing on my screen, and I am sitting here taking notes. By the way, I am a MAKAR.I'l be giving up the house I built and moving to an apartment... All sob stories.. Many things are so true .. My Ketu is in 4th House in aquarius.. I feel strongly connected with my vehicle.. it may sound weird but I do talk with my vehicle (as if its my baby).. I never leave my vehicle at my friend's / relative's place.. and I have experienced that my vehicle also supports me in crisis time (like it would ever wish to get dry run, it will be very near to any petrol pump, OR it may breakdown when its near some garage) ..but as soon as Ketu Mahadasha (Ketu Antardasha) started, it started getting maintenance issues (but still supported me in same weird way).. Apart from this, Ketu Mahadasha has made me spiritual and feel connected to God (Lord Dattaguru, Lord Ganesha & Lord Shiva) .. I always feel that these Gods are keeping an eye on me and helping me in running my daily chores.. Sometimes I understand universe signals too which indirectly helps me in life.. I have stopped socializing with friends.. rather I have started liking spending time with old people or pensioners and helping them whenever they request.. But this Ketu Mahadasha have started giving anxiety issues.. I am worried bcoz this Mahadasha will remain for next 5 -6 years .. still antardasha with Moon (8th House), Mars (10th house) etc etc are still waiting for me.. more anxieties I am expecting.. I am just praying God to make this roller coaster ride a little smooth.. that's it.

Born in Ketu dasha ketu in 9H Loved staying alone mother told me I was the detached child and happy on my own. I remember hiding under the sofa and painting all day over there, Besides drawing and painting I used to spend all day with cats in our backyard And I used to pretend as if I’m their mom.

Some days back I started putting water on my head ( where you showed) and also taking shower as soon as I get up in morning as per the advice of a person. I do take shower twice a day. That really helped me. I m really grateful for that. 🙏

I had my ketu dasha during college days…. Now i can join dots… i suffered from skin disease called „nagin“ which is caused due to virus. During same dasha i travelled to so many temples like Trambakeshwar, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, temples in goa. Change in house/city happened. Break in education.

Cause like when my Rahu MD and Ketu AD began I went from waking up at 9 AM to 4 AM did a lot of yoga and a lot of my friends just got separated (I have ketu in 11th in Scorpio) I started reading more about psychology and astrology and by the time my ketu antardasha ended like everyone had left me from lovers to friends, now it’s Venus AD hope it goes well
Same here regarding friends leaving, I don't have anything that anyone can benfit from, in Ketu Mahadahsa and Saturn ANtar. I don't have anyone with me either people left, family passed away, husband divorced or something or the other, I am lone without work for last 6 yrs and even my roommates hate me or detest me fir no reason (because I eat basic dal chawal, don't go out, sleep and wake up on same bed same place 24/7 that's why they trouble me :) I have no words and brain to comprehend what I have done to be going through all this,, I really can't recollect behaving like this with anyone :):)

Eat only satvic and try to vist temple regularly. Dont trust anyone during this mahadasha. Just believe in God. Everything will get better with going phase.

Actually Mera question kuch aur hai.. mera college offline chalu hone vala hai toh bas puchna tha whether I should travel everyday (kuch 2 hrs to reach and 2hrs again return trip) or mujhe rental stay better hoga. Thank you for the lecture. I was waiting for session on ketu only. I was born 36 hour after lunar eclipse with ketu(pada1) and moon(pada 4) in ashwini in 5th house. My mother has ketu in 1 house in Anuradha nakshatra. We both are absent minded. She asked me from a devi hence I was born with Jupiter(jyesta) in 12th house. I enjoy a strong spiritual karmic connection with my mother bcoz of ketu.
