  • Ive said Ive had tough fishing days in the past and this was not only the toughest but the most frustrating. Between mechanical issues, to getting snagged all day, to losing fish, I was at my wits end. I knew there were fish to be caught even though my ususal spots werent producing on my confidence baits. I had to figure it out and I did. i was able to get fish on the deck and in the end that was all I wanted. I talked through what goes through my head when I cant catch fish. I go back to basics and fish places Ive never fished before, like its my first time visiting a new area and having optimism. That slob can still be just one cast away. I hope yall learned a little something from this video and realize EVERYONE has these days. Like, Comment, and Subscribe!!

I love a video which shows how fishing ACTUALLY is in Florida! Some days are great and some days just aren't.

@@randylarsen6044 that’s what I’m trying to show on the channel brotha!! Don’t want people getting so frustrated because it’s not like what we all see on UA-cam. It happens and I want to show how I deal with it to try to keep the skunk away! Haha

This is like the best day ive ever seen lol. Ive gone MULTIPLE several hour kayak days in a row with essentially nothing hooked. Super pressured areas here. Gotta get those lures back! Risk life and limb blow out the spots screw it! Just found the channel i like it just fish new areas if you wanna spice it up for us. Personally i like all the stuff youve done so far dont need to change it up on my end. An idea tho get a gopro on a selfie stick thing maybe polarize lense and post it on the boat up high so we can sight fish. the chest mounts dont show what you can see as well or a head mount cam. Itd be different than everyone i think. Keep giving us the goods. Good luck.

@@surfer240sx awesome brotha thank you for the advice!!! A lot of them I will go get but some of them are so far back I wouldn’t be able to reach unfortunately, just gotta take the L on those 😬. I’ll definitely look into the polarized lens. I do eventually want to get a second camera mounted on the back of the boat for another angle just don’t know how that would work for editing purposes(I’m not technologically savvy at all lol). But thank you for the support again! Check out my other videos and let me know what you think!!

Love the idea of throwing such a small bait. Im going to have to try it.

Yes! Bigger isn’t always better! Growing up bass fishing I learned it’s not always the size of the bait. I’ve caught 8-9 lb bass on the smallest worms and lures I had. All depends on what they want. Not biting big? Try small!

@@RAGFloridaFishing right I love just fishing freshwater with a beetle spin

@CharlotteHarborFisherman I grew up fishing a 4 inch worm Texas rigged and caught MONSTERS! Beetle spins are awesome too!! Strike king I believe makes a small spinner bait between a full size and beetle spin that worked awesome and the hook was a little stronger!

You had a lot of fish in the boat. I know not what you were hoping. A bad day is when you come back to shore and haven't caught anything. I know you've never experienced that but some of us have. lol

Fishing can be extremely frustrating. My last kayak trip was a long 10 hr day and 1 single bite a 12” triple tail. I was the happiest man alive to see that little fish. And when the fish aren’t biting the snags are off the charts. But the hard days is what make the good ones that much more enjoyable.

not sure if you've tried them or not, but i love keeping those mayan cichlids, especially in brackish water. they taste great, a lot like the mangrove snappers.
