why does dura flex require contractors to be certified in order to use their product? What makes dur-a-flex so special over all the many other epoxies of the same quality that they refuse to sell it to contractors even if theyve been installing epoxy coatings for over 20 years unless they get a "certification"?
If you get many of people who install your product half ass, then your brand gets a bad name. They're not the only ones that have requirements. Tnemic and Elite Crete are just a couple off the top of my head that do the same as well. It's not even just putting a bad install in, but there's also ways you're supposed to dispose of the products as well.cant just throw a 5 gallon resin in the in the trash when you're done with it, having that bucket go through a trash truck and dripping down the highway would be detrimental, and the evidence would be a huge label named "dur-a-flex" would be held liable for cleanup and/or damages.
