That being said i never forget (my memory is sharp AF) and i very rarely forgive, simply bc they don't deserve it, Self respect matters a lot so when a person's actions and toxicity towards me don't deserve my forgiveness i don't force it, but follow my heart & intuition about it.
It is very much possible to grieve, heal and move on successfully without forgiving said people. I always choose to let Karma take over bc even if it takes some time the wheel ALWAYS ends up turning.
