Beautifully done! Though you were experiencing foot pain, you pulled it off❤. I'm happy that you used the experience to teach audience how to take care of their feet on rocky paths. :) The views are breathtaking. Thanks for the bubbly, underwater shots too. This is a real life experience, up close. I love it. Wish I was there🎉 looking forward to your next adventure
Pro tip for rio chillar. Use trail running shoes with good water drainage, low stack height and decent grip. For example acteryx norvan sl, adidas terrex speed pro, salomon s/lab alpine, vj spark etc. High and soft trainers won't be as stable in rocky river floor nor as comfortable when soaking wet. Good running or hiking socks made of polyester or wool are also a must!
Wow! So beautiful. I can’t wait to get back to Southern Spain. This is definitely on my list of places to visit. Thanks for the tips regarding footwear on the river walk. I was laughing at your humour about your choice of footwear 😂 Thanks DL for another brilliant video from Spain.
Oh my goodness, this town is so beautiful😍!! Stunning white buildings, I can imagine how bright it is during the day but so worth it to see! The steps, plants, doorways, passageways, restaurants and clean streets. Everything is so charming. I loved the old keys on the green door handle too🗝. Thank you for sharing Daniel, absolutely wonderful!!
There is a bigger swedish colony in Nerja.. even before Nerja became a big Tourist place a lot of swedish and norwegians lived there. it was all so calm and trankilla , back in the 80-90`s tourists would just visit Europes bigges cave in Nerja and not for the beach but now the Whole Nerja is so crowded
Everyone has their style and idea of how to spend their holidays or live in Spain. Some in the busy areas and others in quiet mountain villages like these. Thanks for sharing your experience of the place!
i have lived down by Rio chillar one year in the tiny tiny farm by the white painted cave under the highway where you see Nerja . there is a "dead" abandoned city just above Frigiliana, "Døda Stan" . bullet holes from the time of Franco. Me and a fellow swede drove up to there in his old Volvo 245 with swedish plates on , paved small steep dangerous roads , but the fish and the rivers high up in the mountain , so clear rivers you can see the fish ,edible cactus there but watch up for the bees. "Braine" used to live in the cave but then the road brigde came just above it . we made a lot of lovely food there and harvested fruit and oliven.. i would love to see you go to "døda stan" i still have clear pictures from that time,,feels like yesterday
On my 30th birthday 1999 i walked drunk up rio chillar to Frigiliana and back to Nerja late in the dark , Nerja still in my heart. "Nerja "Narixia" arabic and meens Clean wather spring or somthing in that meaning
Great video my friend. We only live about 45 minutes away on the coast and never knew this walk existed. Frigiliana is a great place to visit and maybe in a year or so we are looking for a country place to buy. Let me know the link to your bushcraft channel. Bushcraft and the outdoors is a passion of mine too.
Enjoyed this vid Daniel after recently visiting Friggliano. Always good to see someone else's perspective on places I've visited....TBH think Mijas Pueblo tops it with more to do and better view's, but that's just personal opinion ATB Steve
Thanks for your comment Steve. Mijas Pueblo is a bit bigger and more developed. It’s lovely too. I lived there for a year. Frigiliana has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison though. Have a great weekend!
I love all the passages.
The views at that restaurant. ...magnificent.

It is good to hear you have a history there. Whilst you lived there, I had already moved to Benalmadena. Thanks for sharing your story!
I went there one month ago or so. It reminded me a bit of a theme park, not as much as Mijas-pueblo did but still.
I don’t know where you got that feeling from, but then again we all experience things differently. Thanks for your comment!
I have missed your videos. Have you taken a break from videotaping? Nice to see you...
It’s been a while due to personal circumstances. But I’m back on track again as much as I can, also working full time as an estate agent.
I love Malaga. I will return soon and stay in Nerja.
Very good! Welcome back!
