- It's another Dollar Store DIY project! This time I make a DIY faux mirror wall art candle holder home decor project from faux mirror/chrome like party plates and chrome like napkin rings found at Dollar Tree. This dollar store DIY faux mirror candle holder decor piece can be used for DIY mirror wall art, DIY mirror mantle decor, DIY mirror beauty room decor, or even DIY mirror closet decor. It’s an easy, cheap, and cute DIY room decor project for a mirrored home decor theme. I do not recommend actually lighting the tea light candles on this wall art decor piece because when I did it melted the little faux mirror plates.

Sadly, These little plates are impossible to find. I can't even find ones that would be close, at any other store. :( Their website is ALWAYS out of stock as well. Sad. They know people buy them why not stock moore of them? Right? :)

Neither are available on the dollar tree website either!! I have gone to over 20 different ones within a 35 mile radius!!!

Hello this is such a Cute idea. I am having the same problem all the other viewers are having and that is not finding the plates :-( I would really like to try this. Everytime I go to my dollar stores which I go to several in my area I NEVER find those plates. and I go to the dollar stores often and NEVER find them😢
I find the plates and napkin rings in the party section of Dollar Tree ALL THE TIME. Make sure you check in Dollar Tree. When I see them I just stock up on them.

You can use the battery operated tea lights instead of wax tea lights

Would still work great with battery powered candles! Love this idea but may look for something the candle will fit down into instead

The Dollar tree has the tea lights that too can turn on and off and wort get hot. Hot sure if the t are the same size: But this is 5 stars Adorable. I Love Great Idea
