I had been there with my friends on Jan 1st 2020. It was an amazing trek. I was not able to complete the trek. Need a lot of stamina to complete the trek. I literally gave up when I was 1km away from the peak. We started at 10AM and completed by 5PM.

I grew up in kudremukh. Salt is best for leeches. Take it with you... these trekking shoes not good enough for the weather you have gone.. you need gum boots... that what we used for our trekking in kudremukh.. it is harder for leeches to reach your skin if you were gumboots.
I lives there for 17years of my life and my parents lived there for 25years. Havent visited since 2004. Thank you so much for showing this beautiful scenic place.
