I think it’s going to be a big success.i like that there is a big difference in the secret identity look compared to all the previous movies. It’s not just his glasses it’s his hair style changes also. All the previous characters basically only relied on his glasses. In a real situation most people would see the 2 were the same.
Remember that was James Gunn’s movies. He throws a whole lot of distracting silly character development at us so that when the character is finally become heroic, we can identify with them better. He is not afraid of letting a character be sincerely good he just likes to build up so he knows that Superman is good and he won’t do anything to take away from that. he might make him a little bit Difficult at the beginning, but only to make sure we believe in him
