At 80 years old and merely a 4 time World Champion, the man is an absolute beacon for match angling for why we do it and why we continue to do it. Those feeders mentioned were made by Thamesley, known as Thamesley Speedfeeders. We were cutting windows in them on Loch Ken in the late 90’s. I’ve still got a few of them kicking about.

Love listening to sir bob, it always takes me back to when I started fishing in the early 80's when going to the tackle shop on a saturday was as enjoyable as going fishing itself as everyone met up at the tackle shop to swap tactics and see how each other had got on during the previous week with their fishing 👍🎣🎣🐟🐟
The classic fishing festival on the river erne is a brilliant festival 180 fished it this year, it was only 2 weeks ago, the winner was from Germany he won with 71kg over the 3 days, the numbers are on the up again and it would be great to see more English lads coming over to fish it
Impossible not to like and love listen and watching .... i learned so much from this fishermans " gang " LADS ; if somehow have the opportunity to fish Danube Delta wild venue , do not hesitate : go for it .....if you like swarms of bloody mosquitos

People were making window feeders over 30 years ago, cutting slots in drennan maggot feeders.
