How to Build a Tripod Lamp

I'm a retired Cameraman. I've got to say your tripod (stix) is a carbon copy of the wooden film tripods I inherited when I started my TV career in the early 80s. Over the years we moved to metal models. I longed for my old wooden film Stix. I'm so going to make a pair of these lamps this summer.
