The E2 is quite noisy, but there's some ways to reduce that:
1.- Always use line out. The headphone jack is a lot nosier.
2.- Use MIDI in/out instead of USB MIDI. The USB jack is not opto-isolated and that could bring some ground loop noise.
3.- If you are not using the audio in jack, go to the global menu and disable audio thru.
4.- Battery Saving mode adds some noise too.
    Awesome video indeed.

And to lower cpu load disable filters for all parts, set ifx to punch if not in use and set everything to mono.
Korg decided to cut corners in the weirdest places. Really feels like it's still in beta testing.

0:31 haha you went to a coffee shop! I am from NL. A NL coffee shop is always a good place to start being creative...

Hey man I always keep coming back to your groove box videos.
There’s anyway to strums notes in electribe?
Like to put notes from the same part in the same (chord) space but to nudge some notes to get that strumming feel?

How have you got the vocal sample in there? I thought you couldn't load samples on the synth version?

It's one of the built in sounds. And yeah without hacking the firmware, you can't load in your own sounds.

I love my Electribe. I think it’s a really really underrated groovebox. It’s got it’s quirks and limitations, but which groovebox don’t?
I’ve paired mine with a Volca Sample, and it’s a really lovely combination.
Hope you’re enjoying your Electribe, Gabe. Great video as always 🎧

So far I'm digging it. How are you syncing it up with the Volca? I've got a couple of those sitting around and using one in tandem with the Electribe would be dope.

Gabe Miller Music I’m syncing via midi. If you have more than one Volca though, you can use the sync in/out and create a chain. Midi is cool though because the tribe will give you 4 bars of sequencing.

The only problem which I have with my electribe 2 so far, is that I got a hard time making my synths not sound like synths. If you know what I mean. You always end up making a cool mix between house and super Mario NES. ^^

Using the filter and effects help me a lot with that.

Which do you prefer the electribe 2 or circuit?

I responded to your other comment a bit ago, but I definitely prefer the Circuit. The Electribe is cool, but it's nowhere near as intuitive or portable.

Thanks. I'm glad you said circuit as that is the one I am mostly liking at the moment. Thank you.
