I feel like Bandai should make an accessory pack for Godzilla Vs Kong. It could include a HEAV, an atomic breath for Godzilla, a gritting face for Kong. And effects for Mechagodzilla such as hands with the blue energy effects, his proton scream, and a drill tip for his tail. It's wishful thinking but there's enough to make an accessory pack.
A big slightly transparent grey plastic that connects to his Atomic Breath to be a little Hollow Quarry

I rate it an 8/10. My biggest concern is that this time godzilla's new atomic breath is more beam/lazer like. I was really excited to see how shma would handle it, but they decided to skip it. Other than that it's Awsome.

Well not exactly but the atomic breath is basically the same for King of the monsters and godzilla vs kong. If your asking why i didnt mention 2014 is because godzilla's beam was getting tampered by the M.U.T.O's EMP. So basically godzilla 2014 beam is a blow torch while godzilla 2019-2021 is like a flame thrower

You could use the shm godzilla 2014 spit fire as it just rests on the stand but that depends if you had the spitfire
Great to see a positive SHMA review for a change. Not big on the Monsterverse, but this figure should do a good job at representing it. Pleasantly surprised with how nice the mouth came out.
It would have been nice to get a NEW atomic breath effect, because in GvK his breath is more concentrated than in 2014 and KotM
Neca’s kotm v2 atomic piece affect actually works and stays on the mouth with ease ! Also I think it’s color blends better than the shma’s 2019 atomic breath

Yeah they should make a godzilla 2021 with all the atomic glow all over his body (not the entire figure) with a shorter atomic breath and an effect part when the breath impacts onto the ground

Finally! I’ve been waited for this one.
I think the KOTM poster version looks more accurate to when he charges and fires his beam in GVK. I also wish he had a beam effect but not the same one as the others which were just copies of the 2014 Spit Fire version’s. I would’ve had it where it was a new beam that looked more like an energy beam shooting out like in KOTM and GVK rather than him just spewing blue fire out like in 2014.
Right now though I’m debating whether or not to get the 2019 Burning Godzilla. It’s sold out on BBTS and it’s price is already skyrocketing everywhere else. Decisions, decisions.
Get him before he becomes like poster version 2019 and spitfire 2014. Hes worth it,I have him
The KOTM poster version is painted (or transparent) on parts it shouldn't be:arms, legs, neck and part of the back. Even with the fog effect the godzilla of the movie doesn't even have that blue all over the body, which makes the figure even less accurate when imitating the scene of the poster. Godzilla has blue parts on it's body in the form of veins, not like random spots that only give the appearance that godzilla is going to explode and the atomic breath is going to come out of anywhere but his mouth, like the poster version is.

They should have made a new beam sculpt or included one of the „classic“ beams from other SHMA. In GvK his beam looks more like a bigass lazer and doesn‘t really look like the „flame“ type beam introduced in G 2014.
The problem I have with SHMA is that there are no seperate accesory packs like the older Godzilla packs with beams and buildings, and those are so expensive on the aftermarket.
I don’t have the burning or event version, but I believe this head sculpt is shared between this one too. A bit longer and more angular than ones used with the ‘19 and poster version.

Steven, if you move the tongue lower, you can close the mouth all the way. Also I never knew that this head sculpt was the same as the 2019 burning godzilla and the Event Exclusive version

I have the Neca version of this with the Dynamic metalic /electric blue on the fins, with a beam effect, and it is very articulated..
Looks suspiciously identical to these ones..
But I love it.

I saw this figure for a great price online, went back the next day and it was sold out. Kind of a shame since the Neca versions of monsterverse Godzilla don't pose too well.

I scored today! I refreshed BBTS for GvK Godzilla and the figure was in stock. I've never hit checkout so fast. It was the only one too. That figures been out of stock for like 2 weeks now.
Finally got mine yesterday and I love it especially since I never got the 2019 version. I’m just waiting on my Kong now. The only problem with mine is his left hand’s ball joint doesn’t move which is a problem. I’ll try to see if I can fix it somehow later.

Does anyone else notice that the face looks off? It looks warped by comparison to the original Godzilla 2019 release. The right eye ridge is very warped, and his snout is narrowed.

I have mines but mine broke. The problem is the joints weren’t on correctly in for replacement I’m getting Godzilla 2019. Hopefully that doesn’t break I don’t know how my 2021 broke but it’s crazy but for now before I get my 2019 well I’ll get it on Christmas from my dad. I’ll have to use the Godzilla Ultima now but it’s from SH monster arts I’ll just have to use that for scenes until I get my SH monster arts, Godzilla 2019😊

I think it's good, but I'm gonna stick with the 2019 Poster Colour Version. That one has more shine to it.
I genuinely don't think there's a excuse on why he didn't come with a beam yes there's other figures with the same beam
but what if you're posing them all using their beam effect? then you would have to take it away just for this figure, not to mention the atomic ver of gmk didn't have a beam either if we just let bandai off the hook so easily they're going to get more comfortable with not including beams! If they really wanted to release a gvk godzilla with no beam they should've at least made it vanilla

Yes the tongue can move, it's actually the same head sculpt as burning 2019 and event exclusive which is odd because they where in the 2019 "wave" if you will

Ik how to make beams
They dont have that support normal godzillas have but they work
You need a: straw, stick, paint and hot glue gun
Put the stick inside the straw so you can hold it without burning your hands
Apply hot glue to the straw and paint, apply another layer and paint and another later but do not put too much paint, put like a little detail and that is it, take the stick out and boom
If anyone’s in the area, some booths in Frank and Son’s collectibles show have Godzilla, though for various prices (got mine for retail, thankfully 😅)
I own this figure and I got it on my graduation day and I didn’t open it until I got back from the ceremony. I love this figure but the only thing that I hate about it is the creators not including an atomic breath to this
Huh I never noticed that on him. He is slimmer down the torso and the waist where the legs are connected seem to be more closed in too.

As someone looking to get into collecting SHMA Godzillas, I was wondering about something. Do these kinds of figures get restocked or rereleased a lot? Unfortunately I missed out on this guy and the 2019 version. Every site I've checked is sold out and I'm not sure who or what sellers are trustworthy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The way this generally works is that Bandai/Tamashii Nations works is a production run and not constant production, so all of a particular release is made at roughly once and hen shipped to retailers. If a figure gets reissued, which is usually formally announced, retailers can get more. Otherwise, once sold out, they are out of stock and will not get made again. While they are not "limited" in supply, you should opt to buy sooner than later as figures are not often reissued.
Offer up is trustworthy.

Nope. Final product may vary, and it was shown on display at multiple events.
Luckily I have two SHMA KOTM beam effects 💨💥🔥so this won't be any trouble for me, but I get why some who just started collecting SHMA would be disappointed.
Still have mine ordered at HLJ, just waiting for more items to arrive at my Private Warehouse to ship all at once
I only have one beam because I didn't get the atomic breath version of the kotm I was gonna but I saw the gvk version and I preferred the paint job of that one so I'll just use the beam from the kotm on the gvk
I have zero blue beams! I ended up with a collection of Godzillas that released with no beam so the closest thing I have is the spiral one from Rodan. Really shouldn’t skip the ones that do...

But the beam for monsterverse beam is way bigger and more powerful for kotm and gvk so the gotm version has the wrong beam. And this version just doesn't have one. So meh I see where you're coming from but I disagree since he should have a beam that's more powerful and chunky looking. Kinda like heisei
