In the beginning, the plastic does feel hollow, my humble point of view, it was design with the hollow feel maybe because when it turns into transparent mode, it will be clearer to hear the surrounding sound, that's based on my using experience 😅

I have a feeling a lot of people aren’t being honest about the sound quality of these headphones. You and flossy Carter are both saying they’re bad and although I haven’t tried them out, I bet you two are right. Soundcore headphones are becoming worse at sound quality while becoming better at ANC.
This is exactly why we do these “non sponsored” videos. No such thing as a paid or gifted product that’s going to have a 100% unbiased review.
The Soundcore Q45's sounds pretty good

I think it’s user opinion. I’ve used the Q45 and the new Space One’s and yes, at the regular EQ, the Q45’s sound a bit better but not as loud. But once dial in your HearID or your personal EQ, these are pretty good.
I have a pair, I love them, the sound quality is fantastic it has some great little features that he outlines. But honestly, I don’t regret the buy.
You are right on, I bought both Space one and the Q20i last week. I so wanted to like the space, one but I could not get pass the sound quality, so I had to return them. I kept the Q20i because it has much better sound quality. Almost all the reviews I saw of the Space One were sponsored, witch takes away some of the trust in sponsored reviews. Thanks for this! I have the Q20+s and yes they sound very nice! And excellent noise cancelling too. Your comment on the sound intrigued me because l bought their flagship model , the Space 45's and had the same issue with that weird sound but only in the vocal range. But no one else has said this so it might have been a defect. I ended up sending them back. But the 20+s are solid that way. Thanks for the honest straight up review🙂

I don't understand all the negativity. Out the box they sounded awful, after a firmware update and tinkering with the EQ settings they sound absolutely fine. Very happy and got myself a bargain.

Same here, i bought the Space one hoping to be surprised and am not impress with it out of the box. I did make changes to the EQ via soundcore app and i would say its decent at best. On the bright side, I know which reviewers not to watch.

Can you tell me if the ANC in them makes you feel pressured? I was never a fan of headphones but my wife bought the Sony WH-CH720N because I was thinking about buying them some time ago and she went ahead and did it first. 😅 And with them, I get that pressured feeling in my ears that makes me feel a bit unwell, not sure if that is with all the ANC headphones in general.
I've been searching for options to block the noises coming from neighbours like dragging furniture and slamming doors. Are they effective against those?
I saw some reviews on Amazon and they said the Q30s sound way better, but my main buying point now is the ANC.
personally for me no, the ANC doesn't make me feel pressured too much. Neither do my AirPods or Sony earbuds though.
Great video! What would you recommend for budget headphones? Not looking to sink $400 into new headphones right now just for a newer versions of the sony or airpod max's to be announced a couple months later.

What would you recommend as an alternative to this if I care more about the sound quality, but also want wearing comfort

The glazing has been so hard with these. I ordered them based on those exaggerated reviews, and was sorely disappointed.
It's the features, build and aesthetics that make these 99,99 (I got them on sale for 79,99 though). But if you're looking for sound quality, I'd honestly look at other options. Possibly even from Soubdcore themselves or maybe dish out ~40€ more and go for something more rounded like the Sony WH-CH720N (they frequently go on sale for way under 100€).
These headphones are too quiet and too muddy for my liking. The ANC ist fine, I don't think you'll find much better at this price point. But don't let _anyone_ tell you that these are Sony mx4/5 or Airpod Max killers. They're absolutely _not_ and I think Soundcore invested the funds that should've gone towards the sound quality of the Space 1s into these sponsorships instead.
It's a shame, there's no real reason for them to flop on that front.
I'm sure these are the perfect headphones for people who are just getting into more "premium" ANC headsets - But anyone who's been spoiled by good sound and decent noise cancelling will definitely not be impressed.
Do they cause much much pressure on the upper jaw,currently using the Sony xm5s,they’re great but do make my jaw ache after prolonged usage….wondering if these my be a bit kinder and less pressure on the upper jaw,cheers for any response…

I am not paid by Anker Soundcore. I did not receive a free set of any of their headphones. I own(bought) the Q30, Space Q45 and the Space Ones.
All 3 sets sound good, to me AND they sound different from one another. I do not rate one as better or worse than the other. They simply have different sound characteristics even though they come from the same manufacturer.
I have commented in a couple of other Headphone Reviewer's forums that both, the Q45 and Space One sounded 'thin' out of the box and yes, I updated the firmware first thing. The remedy to getting the best sound was old fashioned Burn In.
I allowed the phones to run at approximately 50% volume for about 16 hours of non stop play from a online radio stream. Then listened and it was Night and Day difference in sound quality. Just my 2 cents.

@pronoy1765 In my opinion, two factors can help you decide. A-price and B-familiarity with the sound. Space One sound great, are comfortable, and just plain work out of the box and are priced less the Sony model. On the flip side, if you have heard or own any model of Sony in the past, you'd probably like the "Sony" distinct sound better. I own 3 Soundcore headphones, so that should tell you something.

Best thing you could do is save up for a good pair of headphones from sennheiser or bower and wilkins

I'm kinda new to the headphone thingy.. but can you please further explain why Space One with LDAC codec, sounds worse than Q20 that only has SBC and AAC?
Ldac only gives you better audio quality not sound quality cuz it will still be based on its headphone signature. Just more clear and vibrant
I ordered a pair but when I noticed that 90% of the reviews were similar and obviously paid… then I noticed a lot of the bad reviews on Amazon and AliExpress were about the the hinge breaking and I just couldn’t risk that… so I canceled my order and went for the jbl 710 bt … sacrificing ANC but saving a little more cash and getting better build and sound is definitely something I’m happy with…
I dunno if we can but please can we durability test headphones??

The Space One actually sounds great.. after you update it.. I have 1 and my friend has one.. I tried them both and noticed mine was sh1t as fck that I had to search on youtube if it's that bad. And after a firmware update they were decent. Not as good as a Q45 but definitely same quality as Q20i

Awesome. I love my q20’s. Such a good bang for the buck
With LDAC enabled they sound great for 60$. Without LDAC yeah they suck. Sennheiser Accentum out of the box sound great like the LDAC enabled version of this but they are 2.5x more in the price. Haven't tried any other soundcore headphones. If you don't have an android go buy something else
If go into the app the listening experience way up. Out of the box I was not impressed once I personalized it my experience went way up.
I've heard this from multiple people to update the headphones using the app. I'll give it a try

This or sony 720n?
# Ordered Space one Headphone. Didn't fit well, headband and adjustable arm not strong enough. Falls off during gym workouts. Initiated return process within a day of receiving the order. Contacted via email for return procedure, was told refund process initiated. However, haven't received refund yet. Lack of trust in the 30-day return guarantee as refund hasn't been received. Attempts to reach out via phone and email unsuccessful, no response.
Good to know, we havent had any experience with their customer support as of yet.

The plastic makes it light, i need ANC for 13 hours flight one go, i need light.no headphone or earphone can replace a system 5.1 with a bass box the size of a dog. Simple law of physics
