Panthers fans aren't happy because Bryce is throwing for amazing numbers, but because he is seemingly improving in every game. The Saints game, for example, that INT, that was a PERFECT throw, showing how good he can be. We just need to give him, like you said, the rest of this season and all of next season. If we can have a leather good draft class, we might be in the midst of the division next year
I agree and I’m so glad we got Dan Morgan because he’s rookies have all produced their rookie season so far and I think we will have good drafts in the future… how ever if we keep improving we’re not far behind the other teams. Let’s see how we look against the chiefs next week to judge..

Teams definitely going to have to start stacking the box out of respect for chubba and Brooks then boom, the deep ball opens up. I’m excited about Coker, legette and J.T. sanders. Since coming back from the bench, Bryce has been averaging about 174 YPG with 4 TDs and 3 INTs. What box score watchers won't see is that his WRs cost him about 40 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT in the Saints game. If you factor those in, he's at 187 YPG, 5 TDs, and 2 INTs. Significantly improved from how he looked at the beginning of the season and even last year. He's not putting up crazy numbers but he's playing with confidence and showing up in big moments. He's showing great improvement too and is clearly headed in the right direction.
I believe that even if the Panthers were winning they would have traded Johnson. The main reason they let him go was his flat out refusal to run block. It cost the offense yards, possible points, and at one point almost got him injured. Morgan sent a message with that trade, if you don't give us your all and do everything you can to improve the team, you are gone.

I think the play calling is heavily limiting him because in the giants game it was aggressive at first and Bryce was putting up good yards but in the second half it was too conservative

My dream draft is possibly trading back a few spots but taking a top talent DE in the first round either way. I'd actually double down in the second if they don't find a good enough FA DE. The rest BPA but picking an OL in the 4th with one of their current 3 picks to make sure they constantly bring in linemen to develop for the future and if injuries happen.

It doesn't I was just trying to simplify the credential in my mind. For example: 2 TD's and 2 good drives that lead to FGs. Something like that. Just don't want to see mostly predictable short passes and screens that lead to 3 & outs all game. Make sense?

Bryce is gonna be alright. He's making good decisions and starting to do the things he was drafted for. Making smart decisions with the football. Its not flashy. But if we get more mistake free football, the run stays strongs and we find a way to get first downs, we win football games.

Bryce reacts very poorly and slowly to pressure which causes him to fumble the ball a lot and throw late to targets who end up being covered again.
