I got a lot of compliments on my hair in this video • HOW I STRAIGHTEN, TRIM... , so I decided to share with you guys how I curled my hair with a flat iron plus 3 methods to maintaining your curls overnight. The products I used on my hair prior to curling are: Biosilk shampoo, conditioner & silk therapy serum, sunny isles Jamaican black castor oil intensive repair masque, & it’s a 10 miracle leave in conditioner & tresemme heat protectant spray! I honestly don’t do anything special😭 I keep it in buns mostly & I just shampoo & condition regularly. However, I’ve used Nature’s Bounty 2x biotin gummies in the past & they really work!

Thank you! I always use 400-450 degrees but if you have finer hair, definitely go lower.
Does anyone know how to make your curls like longer? Cause when my hair is blowdryed it's like passed my shoulders and I want it like mid back length not like Shirley temple lol

will your tips work even if i use a wand curler instead??
I believe so!! It’s just in the way you wrap it. If you’re going for a “flat iron” barrel curl then wrap your hair flat around the wand.
Can I do the pin curl on straight hair?
Definitely! It won’t be as defined though.
How often do you trim or clip ends?
Honestly whenever my ends get too unruly and split but you should do it every other month or two!

Curling in opposite directions is genius! Question, since you've wore your hair in its natural state, I was wondering if it's easier to retain length while wearing your hair straight? I currently wear my hair in its natural state but I'm considering being a "straight hair natural" because ya girl is tired 😫 😂

& yes, I think so!! I used to press my hair way too much & I do think that it partially contributed to me retaining length so easily! It’s just way easier to manage. I used to get carried away with the straightening lol & it left me with a lot of damage. So now I straighten my hair like once or twice every 1-3 months. When it comes to retaining length, I think getting trims regularly & “heat training” are the quickest way to achieve results.

How do you preserve it in the shower from steam causing to to revert?
I wrap it and make sure my hair is completely tucked then I put a bonnet on! Don’t use a shower cap, I find that those trap in steam.

Not often at all. I’ve trimmed it twice in the past two years.

You May need more moisturizing aspects In regimen because heat isn't bad only if it's on dry brittle hair. Try homemade hair mask deep conditioning and letting hair air dry on roller or pulled in sections. Her hair it very shiny and flexible nourished not dried out looking
