You are right, Fujiko. She seems very short tempered to me in this video clip, but she is actually jst very assertive and confident. I grew up with many elderly noble Burmese ladies, and she is now acting like that. LOL.
Exactly, I know many people judge her especially last month (Feb, 2021) about the issue in myanmar about the regime. But if people watch every single interview she has, read every articles about her, read her biography, observe every details of character she had and read the rule of law she talking about and the constitution. They will understand her decisions she made.

She was just attended UN assembly before this event. She gave a speech there too. I think her schedules are too tight for this trip that's why she seems so tired.

She seems really tired. Trying to choose the right word, interrupting Mr. Rudd and agitated replies. Normally she's not like that.
At first, If you can see the whole interview section , You will easily find most of Mr.Rudd questions were led to criticization. Asked proudly about 80 % of China investment , Economy and Political references. I truly understand that Mr.Rudd represent as a president of Asia Society policy Institute . Not China Society Policy Institute . At the middle of the conversation, he proudly said that he can speak Chinese , What is that ? If he aware who he is dealing with he will not gonna said that. And He had no formal knowledge of The lady rather than general which you can find any magazine or books. As he was in that position he is holding, he should be asking about what is the lady think of Asia society. And discussing of how society and Myanmar can be related for good in future. Not only China . He even mentioned about Jet ma. Does Asian Society only founded with china , any other country than china ?
Secondly, He is Institutional President , not a president of a united state. What can he have done for those of questions that he asked? You are right he is not a dummy, but he is not smart enough to ask those kinds of questions.
Lastly , I don't see any purposes of this interview. Mr.Rudd has been asking about what others already knew. And nothing related to Society as he represented. He even said that most of the questions were collected from among the audiences . I might say this Interview was held in New York, not in china. ...
Someone please rescue Daw Suu.
