Jiren compared to Gilgamesh is so weak. Gilgamesh has an aimable ultimate and actual combo routes, while Jiren doesn't have an assist, no combo potential and a move/mode that requires people to hit him to even use.
@@GokuSolosEasily1 he's combo potential isn't that good and him not being able to use assists just make he's combos worse 2 he's mostly a defensive character which means most of the time ppl wouldn't try to hit u unless u already used evasive and counters 3 he's moves aren't that good u can't land the ult most of the time if u dont have full power on and the wall move only allowing ur opp to shot through it while u can't is just stupid he need a buff or lil rework ngl
Not enough youtubers farm it for views, most of the time if streamers don't play it 24/7 it won't have a playerbase. It's hard to get a decent playerbase when everyone is just trend chasing games to play.

Besides, heavens arena changing his combat mechanics every update didn't helped it to get a good playerbase when the game was supposed to grow. Sum to it updates aren't really often and how people aren't that much interested in battle arena anymore due to battlegrounds. Those are the reasons it doesn't have that much playerbase

TLDR; Jiren sucks Despite having two counters, they both do nothing for him aside from the meditation filling up his meter. His counter impact deals mediocre damage for the risk and isn't reliable like Kakashi's counter. His second evasive is basically required to be used as a combo extender if you even want any of the half HP combos you are talking about. Because he literally only has two combo extenders, one of which with an ultra-massive cooldown, he's unable to combo long enough to get the opponent to evade. Most characters can do that even without an assist. Jiren, I'm pretty sure, is uniquely terrible at that aspect. This forces Jiren into more altercations in 1v1s than if you were using someone like Base Luffy, who can almost always combo someone until they are forced to evade. None of the previously written stuff would matter if his full power mode was better. See; Orochimaru and his Edo Tensei. But Jiren doesn't gain enough benefit from his transformation. The best thing he gets is a litte health restoration and m2 armour on his right clicks. Thats... terrible. Compare it to Orochimaru who gains a whole nother moveset to stack with him. The differences are insane.

heavens arena needs more playerbase, its not the greatest game but is animations are so great and the combat is unique
