One more thing i have two wonderful champaka trees blooming heavily in summer. But dont have any successful small flowering plants(except rain lillies).
Champa...a great plant to have and I have 2 different varieties..However, the taller variety does much better whenever we grow them directly in ground. I have 2 of them and this year they are not flowering well as I didn't change the soil. Just 2 months back got on Dwarf variety and so far it's doing fine. Along with Champa, you can also try growing taller variety of Orange Jasmine (The fragrant is mind-blowing). Small flowering plants? There are way to many and please check out my playlist once here - www.youtube.com/@GardeningUpbeat/playlists You would be able to find lots of plants there and please note, I grow 99% of my plants in pots. I have also shared about the environment details in my previous reply. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask me. Thank you!
You are most welcome! Sure..I would do a video very soon talking about different medium we can use. Not all can be grown in a single potting soil mix and I would provide detailed info. Thank you and Sir is not required actually!
Thank you so much and good to know...Can be done but it's raining on regular basis, humidity is very high. It would be much better if you prune when rainfall stops a bit and climate becomes somewhat dry.
Sir, I live in coastal karnataka. Can you suggest some perennial flowering plants suitable for my weather? Problem i am facing is lack of sunlight due to coconut and fruit trees. So till now only rain lillies have grown n given flowers satisfactorily. Here rain is very heavy so i grow flowering plants in growbags with cocopeat. Also grow bags give me opportunity to move the plants according to sun position. So please guide what can i grow easily.
Sorry for taking sometime to reply and Sir is totally not required..please call me Mr. Gardening Upbeat..he he (I am just kidding and you can address me by saying anything) Back to your question - I already did a video few days back about the plants that don't need lots of Sunlight and here is the video - ua-cam.com/video/_infWzlKS3g/v-deo.html Trust me, rainfall in my place is quite high too (I am from Guwahati, Assam)..and specially, this year it's too much :-( My Adenium plants are struggling! It has been raining in my place almost on regular basis from June 10th..I just want it to stop so that I can care for some of my plants which hate such rainfall. Please go through the list once and let me know if you have any questions at all and I would be glad to assist you, thank you!
