You asked who to lane against in the 2nd map, so I’ll just say what I’ve heard from others: Squeak is a popular counterpick against Penny since he has splash and wall peak (and I think because of the longer range). As a thrower, Sprout kinda counters Penny’s turret, but Penny can’t get 3 shot by Sprout. Bea is weak to Sprout tho Spike might be somewhat difficult thanks to his long range and wall peak, but he can’t use his gadget to block Penny’s shots I’ve literally never seen anyone in competitive play use Penny’s Spyglass gadget (they generally campaign for a barrel nerf; it’s not just good against melee brawlers), but I suppose that it wouldn’t have been effective against Sprout/Squeak’s splash damage or Spike’s Curveball
In Heist and Hot Zone it can be great since you’ll probably get hits in often, but in other modes, it generally won’t get too much value on most maps It’s worth buying, but it is a bit more expensive compared to other gears
draft mistakes so hopefully you learn: 1st draft penny is never a bad choice because of her versatily and lack of counters , except this map isn't the best(not many places to get value from mortar) and there were other picks you couldve went to counter their crow (brock for example 2 shots him and is good in that map) fang and any other assassin should never be picked unless its the last pick and its to counter squishy low dps brawlers(like snipers and throwers) so fang 2nd pick was also bad thankfully they went mortis and gave u the win lol 2nd draft squeak first pick is risky since he gets outranged by every sniper (which get played a lot in that map) bea and gene were decent since they both do ok againt squeak and gene is good in this map but bea forgot to take in account the free sprout that wasnt banned (shes terrible against throwers) so little mistake spike is good here since the cactus blocks gene pull and 3k bea plus he has decent range and is good againt potential assassins sprout is good since it counters bea at this point youre facing 3 brawlers, and 2 of them counter your teammates so you wanna focus on countering them the best IMO the best answer wouldve been carl since you can be aggressive with your super and kill squeak and sprout + ur attack pierces through spike gadget any other assassin wouldve been ok as long as you let ur teammates deal with spike best of luck to ur future power league videos its always a joy to see you play
@@ItsYaBoi123 it's forces you to reposition, many times affecting tactical. Less DPS utltimately is a nerf that is feasible without neutering. If it didn't hit, nobody would ask for a nerf

in my opinion, penny's gadget is too versatile. too much health and too much potential damage. otherwise she is fine. i think her barrel should be around 1000 health and she should do 500 damage to it. one shot (on average) for enemy brawlers to break it and two for her to break it.
Just to help 1st sp is better in passive modes like knockout and bounty but 2nd sp is better in aggressive modes like gem grab and brawl ball but the damage you did 90000 damage was hilarious btw penny is getting hp nerf to the same hp that she had before rework 5100
