I love the way they sent him the song in advance of release - that is not just out of the box thinking, it is throwing the box away! And while having him singing on stage with them at their Russian concerts was inspired, doing so unannounced was even more so. I neither speak nor understand Russian, but I have sung in it, learning the parts phonetically, and it is a very satisfying language to sing in. Of course, I've completely forgotten the songs now, 40 years later - our choir was hosting a visiting Russian male voice choir so we learned some of each other's repertoire to be able to combine on stage 150 strong, which was awesome. I think linguistics is an ability I wish I had but don't more than any other, but my brain just doesn't seem to be wired that way. Maths and physics, no problem, languages, Huh? The songs are all great and the only negative is that I don't speak Russian at all so it's hard to remember which song is which...
From everything I've seen about Sabaton's interactions with anyone and everyone, I'm almost 100% sure that the reason they do things the way they do is because they know for a fact that without fans, they've got nothing. You can write awesome material, be a badass vocalist, whatever... But if no one wants to listen to you, then it doesn't fucking matter. Sabaton brings out guests who've done stuff with them because it's the right thing to do, commercially and morally. Tapok wouldn't have done a cover in the first place if he didn't like Sabaton, and his cover no doubt brought views to Sabaton stuff from other Russians... It just makes sense that they bring him out to play with them. Everybody wins, nobody's feelings get hurt, all that good shit. Fans are why Sabaton is successful, including that time a certain fukkin Roadie got mentioned on their twitter feed AND responded to by band members.
this russian guy is really good i like alot of his covers despite some being in russian and i dont understand a thing his rammstein catalogue is amazing but yeah he kills it every song he does
Long time ago I thoght that russian lang not so good for Rock music, but than I saw Radio Tapok. Most of all he does is better than original, because of my lang. Wrong side heaven ffdp by Tapok is fking amasing its brake heart for hundreds pieces - we russians like this. Feel invincible, night whiches, attack of the dead Men, numb all become better. Oleg is our prophet of rock music. Hail Radio Tapok.
They actually did a similar thing with the song "Fields Of Verdun" where Apocalyptica released their cover of it before Sabaton released the official version. That was certainly interesting! from Blabbermouth: 'SABATON bassist Pär Sundström comments: "I watched APOCALYPTICA's show in Madrid last year and I was blown away by the magic atmosphere they created. This made me excited to see what these fantastic musicians could do with a SABATON song! And what would be more fun than to let them record their version of a song not yet released?"'
I'm also like this, the crowd reaction brings the unfathomable joy to my heart. The earliest example of this that I've ever heard was Therion - Dawn of Perishness, when they just put the sample of live crowd cheering into the song. Man, I love this.
Awesome! I realy love that you can listen to music in any language. It gives a lot of new good stuff to put in playlist especialy because otherwise you probably wouldn't listen to music where you can understant literaly nothing
Think they did the same with another track on the Album with Apocalyptica. Their cover was released before the album as well. Crazy marketing campaign in general they also did a press junket at Verdun with included site tour and history lesson.
Dunno if it was brought to your attention already (upd - ye you know that, i wrote a comment before watching the video :D), but this cover has an insane backstory. As you can see, Tapok and Sabaton are friends. And when Sabaton discovered his covers back in the day, they contacted him and asked if he's down to cover UNRELEASED at a time song, of course, about Russian history. Sure there was no chance he declined this unbelievable offer. So Tapok's video actually came out BEFORE the song was released by the band themselves. I find this as an incredible gesture of respect towards his covers and all the work he does, and it makes me love Sabaton even more. (also I live like 5 minutes from the venue but I was unable to see this exact show cause it went sold out incredibly fast, except for 500$ VIP sits)
If you wanna listen to an awesome song, try 'The silence (live)' by Manchester Orchestra. The song isn't that heavy, but got a great melody, great lyrics and a great build up. Even if you don't do it on this channel, put your headphones on, close your eyes and press play
You should check out Apocalyptica's cover of Sabaton's Fields of Verdun, it's awesome. Check the original version as well. Nice reaction as always, keep them coming...
Another like from Russia! It was great c: i miss this day so much And if you want to listen another russian metal bands - check Epidemia and Digimortal

Tapok wouldn't have done a cover in the first place if he didn't like Sabaton, and his cover no doubt brought views to Sabaton stuff from other Russians... It just makes sense that they bring him out to play with them. Everybody wins, nobody's feelings get hurt, all that good shit. Fans are why Sabaton is successful, including that time a certain fukkin Roadie got mentioned on their twitter feed AND responded to by band members.
this russian guy is really good i like alot of his covers despite some being in russian and i dont understand a thing
his rammstein catalogue is amazing but yeah he kills it every song he does
Thanks for your review mate! Visiting this gig in Moscow was just incredible experience!
Dang it's a shame your english is so bad, you have to study more.
@@Wladeksk8 what for?
As to the uniforms Oleg wore on the stage: it is very similar to uniforms the Russian Tzar's armies officers wore.
Crowds that go wild like that always gives me goosebumps. I'd love to reccomend Winged Hussars and Fields of Verdun! Super amazing songs.
Thank you! From radio tapok fan.
Check out Radio Tapok's cover of Manowar - Warriors of the world, it's awesome!
One of my roommates in college was a Russian major. We used to listen to a bunch of Russian pop so he could practice hearing Russian.
Бро! Ты просто крут! Случайно попал на твой канал, далёк от Радио Тапка и Сабатрона, не понимаю английского, но это круто.
I'm also like this, the crowd reaction brings the unfathomable joy to my heart. The earliest example of this that I've ever heard was Therion - Dawn of Perishness, when they just put the sample of live crowd cheering into the song. Man, I love this.
He did a number of fantastoic Rammstein coves. Definitely recommend at least one of those for reaction!
Awesome! I realy love that you can listen to music in any language. It gives a lot of new good stuff to put in playlist especialy because otherwise you probably wouldn't listen to music where you can understant literaly nothing
Radio's music video to this song is pretty good too. 🤘
i am from Russia, im 40, you are nice and funny, thank you. i am not angry, dont listen your news.... We are Justice
You're a big positive guy. Thank you so much for your reaction and review. We are all very proud of this. From Russia with respect!
Great cover, this song not lost on quality. It's one of my favorite song from Sabaton. That was awesome reaction Tank. Thank You very much.
Hi Tank. He has in ears. You can see it when he is back stage and at the end when he takes a bow and he removes it
Tank you always make me so happy with your reactions. I love Radio TAPOK. He needs more followers, he is amazing
Plus being a Texan, I really want to hear him cover Pantera
Спасибо. Я услышал что хотел.!
Absolutely the best version of the song
i was there !!!!! it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice!
Think they did the same with another track on the Album with Apocalyptica. Their cover was released before the album as well. Crazy marketing campaign in general they also did a press junket at Verdun with included site tour and history lesson.
Oh yeah! This is great! Truly a great reaction. And awesome to watch you experience all these Sabaton stuff. Love it so far.
Последнее время наша гордость в роке. Другие рядом не стоят
Солидарна.
I love your "Tank Fact"'s. Thank you very much!:)
Radio tapok лучшие! Ты должен послушать Depeche Mode в исполнении Radio Tapok послушать!
Thanks for your reaction Tank! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Epic as ever, but it is time for Seven Pillars of Wisdom....and no I won't quit! :-)
In fact, we kinda hoped that he will perform with Sabaton. We hoped and this happened 🤪
If you wanna listen to an awesome song, try 'The silence (live)' by Manchester Orchestra. The song isn't that heavy, but got a great melody, great lyrics and a great build up. Even if you don't do it on this channel, put your headphones on, close your eyes and press play
Tank's highlight from this vid was definitely how fast he got out of that outfit. lol
Absolut geil. Auch die Bewegung zum Gesang, das Outfit, der deutsche Soldat mit der Gasausrüstung. Richtig geile Performance
I was there, Gendalf. 13.03.2020 in Moscow...that was awesome
Fun fact: both "sabaton" and "tapok" words is kinds of shoes.
Sabaton - part of medieval armour that covers the foot, "tapok" in Russian mean slipper.
You should check out Apocalyptica's cover of Sabaton's Fields of Verdun, it's awesome. Check the original version as well. Nice reaction as always, keep them coming...
You would like the song Primo Victoria, the official video feels like a actual movie, keep the amazing work!
TankTheTech i'd love to see you
react to "Mustasch - Lawbreaker"

As he is a roadie and wants live performances...... How about some covid performance from a truck :P Roadie nightmare.
Another like from Russia! It was great c: i miss this day so much
And if you want to listen another russian metal bands - check Epidemia and Digimortal
I love how Sabaton encourages this kind of thing. It's so clear to me that they really enjoy it when people love their music - in whatever way that might be. ❤ thank you for shining a light on this.
Speaking of reacting to Radio Tapok covers he does a cover of Sabaton Panzerkampf which is another song about Russian military if his attack of the dead men cover doesn't give you chills listen to PanzerKampf in Russian
bro, make subtitles in russian 👌
For the fact, the radio Tapok has many translations of songs, including Ramstein🤟🏼
He Tank, all the good wishes from Austria, i realy like your reations
прикольно, меня удивило, что тебя колбасит под припев так же как и меня перед компьютером ))
