New Goats have arrived - Building our KIKO herd

- For years now, we have been planning to build a herd of goats. Jefanna has been reading and studying about Kiko's even before we started building our house. Some of our day trips and getaways were visits to a local farm for their "goat days", and impromptu road trips with stops at petting zoos to see and feed the goats.
These are our new 100% New Zealand Kiko goats. We were lucky enough to meet Stefanie and Lester Goodman from Rowland Hills Farm and are proud to be raising some of the goats from their breeding lines.

Break Heart Orchard is a small farm that we are carving out of previously forested land.
We will be putting out videos on a weekly basis to document this journey as we build our own home and create our dream farm and Orchard .

Probably just a contrail from a jet. It was on fast frame so slow things like clouds moving, look pretty fast.
I did see a shooting star the other morning when I was drinking my coffee. That was pretty cool.

Old shoulder injury finally caught up with me.
What happened to your shoulder? I have been searching videos to try and find out, but no luck.
Old injury. Finally had to get it fixed.
What is your plan for these goats? Will you be milking them or using any for meat? I am surprised that I still enjoy your content after you finished your house but I am enjoying the farm now. I also agree with you on doing what you want to do now.
Meat production. Thanks for the compliment. As we finished the major part of the build I wasn’t really sure if I had anything worth making g a video about. But it seems like this place keeps providing interesting things to talk about.
