Putting in my guess for the knife. It's going to be some wonderful gas station / mall ninja junk with a surprisingly good blade. Going real far and saying it has a bear, wolf, or some other large predator on the scales somewhere. Edit: I was so wrong. a bad gas station knife is fun to have a round to at least have a laugh at in the collection
I like the themed boxes and they have alot of useful stuff but to me the value just is not there. $119.00 and after shipping it costs you around $145.00 for a value of $159.00. the ultimate level is $40.00 more than the advaned for a knife msrp of $45.00
that's a pretty decent camp setup...minus the cheap Rambo knife. If they had put the Mora knife with the fire steel in the handle in it that would be a much better box...
I have a question for you there is a red sticker at the bottom of this video that says blades on it I have an old knife just like the one pictured on it, would you what kind of knife that is? My knife has either bone or plastic handle not sure which but it's full tang
Looks like it has a m9 style wire cutter on the Rambo knife. If you want to do a video on it that's awesome. I don't have a use for it. I'm really not impressed with the subscription overall. When you take out the junk and look at what's left each month it's not a good value in my opinion. It's a lot like bud k quality stuff. I would much rather have one or two real deal items than a bunch of GI-Joe junk.
You're 100% right about the wire cutter. I just left it out because I know that cutter has trouble with chicken wire, let alone actual concertina or chain link!
The title says "caping" out I thought this was going to be a totally different type of review. Possibly a drunk unboxing. I had a thought while watching this, do you think you could do an in the field review of these products during your next camping trip?
Rambo knife growing up = Great childhood!!! Love that old school Rambo!!!
Thank you for helping to make my mind up, I wont be getting any of their boxes, instead I'll just single source it and get better quality stuff.
Same.
atwood makes the best paracord and microcord i have seen
Howdy I loved the anger you had on the medical box you got
the shreaded paper packing crud is likely a uline product. they carry a lot of packing and warehouse supplies
"Is this going to be horrific or amazing, because it could go either way".
No, I'm pretty sure most of us knew it was only going to go one way....
The steel on the rambo knife is 420j2 according to the Rothco website

I remember the Rambo knife in the 80's , you wasn't a cool kid unless you had a Rambo knife
Look at you talking about the Mandela effect, and Star Wars

I'm not sure what exact knife that stick is modeled after but it looks to me like an old Shrade, or maybe a Buck.
Dont get me wrong I still want that fixed blade but my rambo knife from the early 80s looked nothing like this modern day one.

Doc P, grade the item on op scale or u loose me 😢
I don't even know what that means. But also, I don't negotiate with terrorists. It's national policy. Also policy for anyone raising young children.
