Thank you Suzana❤❤❤❤....after so many attempts I finally succeeded creating larimar effect after seeing this video. I am from India and learning resin art watching UA-cam videos.
Incredible how each one turned out differently. Resin is a very dynamic medium for sure. I’m glad both you and Julie keep your ‘recipe’ books so you can replicate as you like. Great work. 🌺🌴
Love these each one is unique and so pretty what a lovely set they make really enjoyed the video and all the effects and me to love the one with the flower in the middle thank you for sharing xx
What elements are absolutely necessary to get the dragon scale effect? For instance, is that final layer of clear necessary if you don't want the clear hole in the middle? Is the white paste required or can it be a different color or done in mica instead? Are the metallics a requirement because of the weight? ....Sorry for playing the 20 questions game, I just don't want to waste a lot of resin trying to get this at least close to right, LOL!
I keep trying to get this crackle effect to no avail…these are amazing! 🤩I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. How long should resin sit before pouring?
Hi Stacey, you don't need to buy anything special. To make the effect you just need to use one transparent colour, a white ( or any contrasting colour as long as it's opaque) to place over it and a clear resin on top to pull it all in. I think I might do another video soon to explain everything properly. 😉
The 3rd is my absolute favorite, all our beautiful! But the third is just wow!

Julie is great. She takes an idea and perfects it🤗🤗🤗
Great to hear an Aussie on UA-cam.
Love your videos.
I have found LERez to be spectacular. / esp compared to others I’ve tried. I’m very new.

Maravilloso! Los azules son mis favoritos.😍
My two favs are the blue ones 💙
Each one is so unique! You definitely got some awesome effects. I’m in love with them all. 💙🧡
I prefer the blue ones!
Gorgeous! Suzana what is the tint you used for the indigo? Is that Le Rez as well? Thanks so much.
Thank you Kathryn🤗 I used Le'rez Expressions Lapis Lazuli tint in these coasters.
Thank you for watching 🤗
@@suzanadancks Thanks! Laura’s Art Corner is out, so I guess I’ll look elsewhere. Much appreciated.
Can you please explain what causes the crackle effect? Do you have to use a certain type of resin or cororant??

Oh thank you so much for explaining!
Would LeRez
angel white pigment paste work the same?
Thank you
Enjoy very much
I honestly wouldn't know as I haven't tried it with this method. I might do that next time
These are beautiful! Do you need to use pigment paste to get this effect? Or can you sub the paste for mica or concentrate?
You can use any transparent matte pigment with one mica pigment to get this effect😉😉😉
I did this on accident two times now, so Im here to find out why it happened on only 2 of the 10 pieces I made
Oh no... I hope the video helped and if not, I have several videos creating this effect. Better luck next time 😉
