Great video George, There's nothing like a Hesston to ensure the Tractors governers are working !! Every ram stroke is heard, usually accompanied by a puff of black smoke, especially on a TW 😁
I left my job driving for an agri contractor in the South East to go driving plant on sites, Couldnt argue with the pay increase. But seeing things like this really really makes me miss it. Straw cart and being on the silage gang the most!

You can see how the newer balers work a lot faster - I grew up with the little red type of bailer, and we mucked in throwing the bales up onto the trailer (until you found the extra packed one and nearly pulled your arms out of their sockets!!)
YES the krones 570 kg flywheel on the pto aksle before the gerbox on the baler, SMOOTH the ride by taking the TOPS or torque needed at max pressure on the bale, so the pto just need a more constant pressure from the tractor to keep the flywheel spinning.
id work everyday for free if i worked on your farm george i had a pig farm and only had a skid steer. love tractors and jcbs your farm is perfect if only i could have something like that i would love every minute of it.

I'm new to this farming equipment and I just even joy watching and learning as much as I can because I would love to have a job farming or become a farmer. The JCB pulling the Hesston 4900 sounds like it's ready to give it up......RPM's rev (puffs black smoke) and then RPM's drop. Does the baler pull that hard ?

The sound of the Fastrac pulling the New Holland ( I think that's the one ) would drive me crazy.

Sam Springer The motion of plunger in the Baler causes the engine to die back as it pushes then the engine revs up again as it draws back
