  • Take an extraordinary look at the elegant but feisty lynx. At home in the Bohemian Forest and Bavarian Forest, the lynx roam the wild surroundings, hunting and playing. Breathtaking film footage shows lynx up close in their natural environment.

I can't help feeling in awe of the people who engaged in the production such as photographers, editors, audio men w/ that effective background music composer, an astute scriptwriter w/ one's researchers, a convincing narrator, etc., esp. those cameramen deserve my highest kudos for those brilliant, unmissable, & almost indelible momentous footages one after another in the face of some adverse conditions ( Btw, those kittens are overlorded w/ irresistible cuteness like our domesticated ones at home ). Thanks to them all in the creation, we are able to enjoy it for free on YT. So I'm much indebted to you for that,,,(09/27/24)

Your video Quality brings out the full beauty of what the Forests and Animals posses. The patients and hard work of the film crew to be in the right place to catch just the right moment is beyond impressive. Placing the cameras near and in the nests to get the knockout close ups took a lot of knowledge and time. Most of us would have a hard time finding an Owl's nest and the Den where Mama Lynx had her young even more.

It's incredible to see the different strategies wild animals use to survive in the wild.
This video reminds me of the importance of respecting the boundaries of wild animals.

Didn’t explain a lot of the things introduced but left incomplete. Like why did the small fish lat their eggs in the mouth of the muscle and then what happens to the eggs. There were a lot of such things like that! Annoying

excellent but I dont think the forest was lanscape scale before agriculture we had millions of megafauna that maintained open spaces and thorny scrub where oaks germinated after jay's hid the acorns, aurocs, bison, horse, elk etc all had massive impact to clear the forest and ensure a mossaic landscape. even beaver meadows drying up etc

It is proven that Italy was totally covered by forests, up to 95% of the territory, the same thing goes for Germany and practically all of Eastern Europe (in Italy only the Po Valley was a swamp due to the melting of the Alps to the north and the snow of the Apennines to the South, a natural very low depression, in fact if you go there today it's still all foggy 365 days a year, particularly persistent in the morning, and this is the only true plain in Italy), but I suppose forests grow in swamps too, so the rule doesn't change (one of the few place with wide grasslands in Europe was Brittany, in the rest of Europe grasslands were truly rare, at most on the mountain plateaus exposed to the strong wind, therefore short lands, and certainly not at hilly altitudes) then there must certainly have been microhabitats in the highland areas (but the rule in Europe was forests everywhere) the forests remain clean because the light does not penetrate when it is thick (therefore plants such as bushes do not survive, this is why these plants are classics of the edges of the woods, or in places where the forest is sparse (grasses and bushes never grow in the darkness of the forest) they need light to survive (you don't need a horse that cleans up) more forest is dense and more you will have a lot of space to move in (for obvious reasons the more light enters the more the grass tends to grow and the path becomes difficult)

Disappointing. There didn't seem to be too much about the Lynx, just bits and pieces about other animals from different other shows, stitched together!

It's sad that I can not say anything good about this video since this was amazing footage when it was original taken but the creators of these videos taken other peoples work and turning it out over and over as new has just become sickening! I have never heard of Wild Habitat before but I am completely sick of seeing the same footage of the Lynx over and over. If you are not going to get off your butts and do the work involved in making a real nature video then find some else to do. Stop pladiarizing other people hard work.

The channel has to purchase the rights to show the footage. Rather than assuming the worst, since they cannot legally recycle and show footage without the original documentary film makers permission, it might behoove you to learn the actual facts as to whether or not footage is purchased and authorization is given, as well as using spell check if you are not willing to "get off your butt" and do the leg work of purchasing a dictionary to be sure that you are spelling words like plagiarizing correctly, before leaving nasty presumptive statements about video content.
Have a nice day. Oh and to keep things positive, thank you for teaching others to think before dishing out criticism and negativity. You are an amazing teacher.
      Cheers!

You probably need to learn how things work before making a fool of yourself. I suggest you get off your butt and get some education.
