For the older-modern versions of Windows i think Windows 7 wins, Vista is second, and XP is last For the Newer-modern versions of Windows, 1. Windows 8.1 2. Windows 10 3. Windows 11
they work differently and shut down differently, newer versions dont completely shut down, they use the hibernation file to shut and start, for a real reset you need a reboot. learned this from dave plummer, he has a channel too worked at ms.

Is the ThinkPad t430 a good laptop to buy? The trackpad kinda looks like sandpaper, so I am wondering if it is any good since I don't like using the point-stick...
Windows 7 is really slow on startup. My daily driver laptop is an Acer Aspire 5750G and I’ve had it for a while now. Even when I first got it, windows 7 was very slow on startup, so I upgraded the hard drive to a 7200 RPM drive instead of the slow 5400 RPM drive. It didn’t really make a difference.. and I didn’t have enough money at the time to bye an SSD because they were more expensive when I got the laptop.

I already know I’m going to hate it long term because even after I used it for like 5 minutes I hated the weird Mac OS look and it was wasn’t completely compatible with a lot of the older programs I use
If someone want select between xp, Vista and 7 in 2024, I will recommend Vista because it has the essentials like movie maker, gallery, etc... XP is just too old and in 7 if you install third-party apps it will tell you that windows 7 is unsupported, because 7 doesn't have movie maker or other stuff, Vista will be better because in Vista you don't need to install other apps, because right now at 2024 starting from windows xp to 8.1, all OS's are unsupported so it doesn't matter which one is newer, what matters is which one has more system softwares and essentials
i have a core i9 12900k and still i changed its motherboard it came with windows 7 ultimate and yet i still use it exept that MS is begging me to upgrade to 11 or to 10
windows 8.1 is the fastest and the most stable OS on most machines I've tested!!! however, google chrome doesn't support it anymore after v110 so I was forced to migrate to W10 LTSB 2016 (1607 equivalent), which is the second best version after w8.1

As expected, Newer-modern version's winner was 8.1, To be honest, I think it's a really stable OS, but yeah a great video.
But I prefer windows 7 and 10 for theme look. Windows 8.1 looks uglier for me. It doesn't really have true aero. Microsoft called it "aero lite"

For the Newer-modern versions of Windows,

inspiring to see all windows all together love it.. its a nostalgic feeling
The best Windows speed comparison ever!
Windows 8 my beloved

Very Nice! 10/10 👍
You are actually using Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 8, but still a good video!
There are no reasons to use Windows 8 instead of Windows 8.1
Ngl but 8.1 is basically 8
8 is slightly faster but 8.1 is easier to use
@@24deboss48 ya they removed the original windows 8
@@LETTITBITYT Windows 8 ended in 2016, Windows 8.1/7 ESU ended in 2023.

I feel like windows versions 7 and up need Solid State Drives for them to actually run smoothly
what is the music in 6:22

That'll take WAY too long
Great video(I'm late sorry)
nostalgic OS battle lol
Ilove7! Would really had used vista if my drivers would have had worked on it
Depends on the hardware. And lifespan
That's kinda funny that people say windows 11 sucks but it doesn't on a lot of things
It's more so annoying than kinda funny

Windows 7 has alot of disk driver problems in general, infact. I'd go as far as to say windows 7 is plagued by disk driver problems.
