Many eastern european people working in construction have their own companies, completely legal. Those who work on the black markets in sweden are most often refugees who are from outside the EU and therefore can't legally work in sweden.
(Offcourse not all of eastern europe is part of the EU but those workers who I am referring too are in sweden are most often from Poland, the Baltics or Hungary.)
Eastern european construction companies in sweden can seem sketchy since they take lower prices but most often that is because they still make much more money than they would in their home country.

For instance I am from Nigeria, I could get a court wedding but I can never get a traditional wedding in the village without my father's permission. Not that might not seem like a problem, but this means that my wedding is not recognised in my village, among my clansmen or in my tribe. A woman could live without it but if she dies without getting it done, her husband will be levelled with heavy penalties before he is permitted to bury her(a husband organises his wife's funeral). If he does not pay the fined and levies which will come in the form of money and livestock to appease the earth, her body will he dug up by the kinsmen till he fulfils his end of the deal. So looking at all this trouble, isn't it better to just get your father's permission and get a traditional marriage. Is the custom the same in Ireland?
