Greetings, 'Tis a great question. We have the same type of roof structure covering the deck on the front of the cottage. Thankfully we have not had any issues with birds nesting or roosting (save one Robin years ago) under the roof. I am hoping the summer kitchen will prove the same.

I am so thankful for the rain, the ground was getting very dry here. My neighbour sure startled me, it was hilarious for me to see it and my reaction on video.
