Really nice work, you can sell them easily.
Only thing I would say is 1- To check the level before fixing the table, have some small wedges ready to put under the parts that needs to be raised. 2- When you are connecting the two pieces, turn the top upside down and then fix the base to it, that way you can get it centered easier and more accurately.

Hi Roxy. You could also use mop sticks or broom sticks as your dowels. Many hardware shops and Supermarkets stock the stick on its own.

Respirators are cheap. Dealing with cancer or asthma is not. Most commonly recommended respirator is 3M. Please wear one, even when spraying paint outside. Also wear a dust mask when sanding. Protect you brain and lungs. Eye protection is also needed.
