I love hearing about the history of companies like Predator Cues. The passion for the game, and attention to detail (data) has produced a great product line. Thanks for creating this video!
I shot with a predator for the first time yesterday... I'm going straight to the bank and buying one..... In love with this company and hopefully to inspire others to to buy predator!
just took delivery of a IKON 4-5 with the Revo 12.4 shaft as my first pool cue .. before that I just played with house cues... suffice it to say, WOW... I cannot believe how much this thing is! And proudly made in the USA!
@@thientruong4795 SHAFTS ARE FROM CHINA. 2 FACTORIES SUPPLY THE INDUSTRY. THEY WILL ENGRAVE ANY COMPANY NAME YOU WANT ON THEM. 2023 BUTTS ARE FROM CHINA ALSO
Just got the revo 11.8 with the radial joint coming from a old school guy that at first laughed at how much people talked about it and how much better it was I can truly say the revo changed my mind what a shaft I’ll never go back to wood
I always thought that first generation predator shafts were 5/16X14 since the uniloc system was not really wide spread at that time yet(or didn't exist yet) and Falcon in Canada was making the predator butts in the beginning at that time. I remember Canadian players would buy Falcon cues to match to a first gen. 314 shaft. Early Predator cues were all 5/16X14 model 96 to model 99 but don't know if any of those 99's became uniloc. Seem you kind of brush off the influence and or assistance of Falcon cues Canada in this video.
*EXACTLY. AND IF FALCON WAS MAKING THE CUES FOR PREDATOR, HOW IS IT THEY SENT ONLY A FEW BUTTS TO THE EXPO. THE UNILOC ONLY FITS UNI LOC, SO PREDATOR WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE UNILOC MADE SHAFTS AND HOW WOULD THE DIAMETER FIT THE BUTS? THERE ARE SO MANY HOLES IN THIS STORY AND LIES. SAYING BEFORE UNI LOC NO OTHER SHAFTS CAN BE INTERCHANGED. BULL AS LONG AS THREADS ARE SAME SHAFTS INTERCHANGE. THEN HE SAYS BEFORE UNI LOC SHAFTS WERE NOT SAME DIAMETERS AS BUTTS. WELL, THE JOINT PIN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DIAMETER OF THE SHAFT OR THE BUTT. GOT TO BE A REAL DUMBY TO BELIEVE ANYTHING IN THIS VIDEO!!*
THEY SAID THEY STARTED CLAWSON CUES TO MAKE PREDATOR CUES BUT THEY WERE SUPPLIED BY FALCON. WAS CHEAPER TO BUY A FALCON CUE AND A PREDATOR SHAFT SEPERATELY THAN TO BUY ALL TOGETHER FROM PREDATOR. YES YOU ARE RIGHT, I STILL HAVE A THREADED 314.
You guys at Predator should take a look at southwest cues how they build there shafts the taper makes everything maybe it will be a Revo 2.0 southwest cues cost a lot of money and the waiting list is 12 years just to order a cue
appy aniversary. predator is my favorite cue company and i play only with predator cues. now im playing with the predator 8k-4 with the revo 12.9 shaft and i just ordered the predator bk rush and the predator air 2. looking foward to see new cue tecnolegy and designs.
Congratulations on 25 years predator... I have just joined the Predator family by purchasing the revo shaft although it's paired with my OB butt....I love the revo 12.9...keep up the good work... you snatched me away from OB shafts and I had the best that they had to offer which is the OB Fusion.. It's a combination of carbon fiber and wood with the wood being on the outside and the carbon fiber being on the inside ... it plays good but it's still dings and it still wraps because the wood is on the out side so I really don't understand the point implementing carbon fiber if it doesn't offer any of the benefits.... Needless to say ..the revo is amazing and crushing OB💪
@@predatorcues ..thanx.. just had to wait until the 3x8x10 joint shaft came out for my ob butt...they married perfectly...and the shaft still plays great
@@travispogue8937 yeah bro I definitely love my predator 3rd generation shaft that I got back in 2016 probably not as good as my tiger x shaft but hits pretty smooth but I'm definitely thinking about trying out the new OB carbon fiber shaft and the Revo as well
I wish you treated your customers better. Just bought my first (and last) revo and road line series butt. $1000 and the leather wrap has a raised seam. Warranty service received pics and said "is within our spec" and told the store they weren't doing anything about it. So much for "lifetime" warranty and customer service! I should have listened to the other people in my BCA and APA leagues. Never again getting screwed by Predator
When will predator start taking a swing at making Snooker Cues? seeing how snooker is the biggest of all the billiard games I'm still wondering why you haven't made a revo cue for snooker players?
SNOOKER CUES ARE CHEAP, 150-200 BUCKS. PREDATOR LIKES TO PRICE THINGS AT 1,000 NO ONE WILL SPEND 1,000 WHEN TOP OF THE LINE SNOOKER CUES ARE A FRACTION OF THAT. PLUS THE MARKET IS TOO SMALL. BUT 2023 COMPANIES DO MAKE 10.5MM SHAFTS FOR CUE STICKS
Should you spine or flow a cue shaft like you would in golf clubs to find the hard side or spine? So that it always flexes the same way due to one side being stiffer.
I purchased a throne 2-2 with both the revo 12.4 and 3-314 shafts well my question is what weight are those cues made at mine doesn't have a weight in it but seems to be at 19.1 oz is that the normal weight if so how can I make it lighter seeing it doesn't have any weight added I also purchased the weight kit so I could get the weight to what I wanted which would be 18.75 and work the balance out to my liking

I know this is a year old comment,, but if ur referring to Efren “ Bata” Reyes, which is my fav player btw and the GOAT. I saw in a video not long ago where they said he uses a $10k cue. I didn’t even know they could get that expensive!!

Funny, on youtube everybody n their cousin is comparing their cues n shafts... to Predator. Take that as a huge compliment.
