You watch enough of these blitz games (it must be very difficult to play under heavy time pressure) and you gain an appreciation for what a great chess competitor Fatality is -- it's amazing how often she comes out on top when there is a decisive exchange of pieces near the end of a game
n00b question I guess... why did he gave up? Isn't it a draw when both sides end up with 4 opposing pawns and a king?
@@bnonymousninetysomething2509 In your example I don't think you can assume a draw is inevitable - it's true the game here could continue e.g. via king e8 x bishop - look at the pawns: all his are blocked, but w/ one move king g4 next move she takes his and frees her pawn - what can he do? - he can only move his king or the pawn on a7 1x (or 2x) - only thing he can do is attack her pawn on c4, but by the time he gets there she has a queen and it's over for him
