Hello -What are the possibilities of DCL hiring someone south asian as performer -Also in person audition are like compulsory? It's quite impossible to just fly in the western countries for audition. Thank you xx
@@Celestialsoulxx Hi there! I think your chances at working for DCL are great! They are hosting a ton of auditions right now - I would check out the Disney Auditions page for the list of cities they are going to. I know they are having some in Singapore soon and they were just in Manila. That page as well as their Instagram page are great resources for keeping up to date with the auditions they host. 😊
For not telling us about the dance, honestly it wouldn't really matter anyway because every DCL audition is different! They are always changing up the choreography and the audition rounds and format. You can go one day and your friend could go the very next day and it could be an entirely different experience even if the casting calls were identical! Sometimes they do readings, sometimes they don't, sometimes they do animation, sometimes they don't, sometimes the initial dance is super easy like a WDW dcp audition with a harder one later, sometimes they only teach you one choreography that's intermediate and technical! You never know what you're walking into for DCL!
Not recently as I'm from California and they haven't had one here in 10 months. That was the second look-alike DCL audition I'd been to, and I also auditioned for mainstage vocalists. I want to audition again so badly though! And one of my best friends also just went in NYC and was kept to the end too!
@@estherhinds6314 Oh dang! I wonder why that is 🤔 I would love to not have to fly all the way to New York next time! I soooo sincerely hope you get to audition again soon and that you get cast! Crossing my fingers for your friend as well! 🙂
I just went through an audition and am now in consideration!! It was one of the most pleasant audition experiences I’ve ever had!!
@@alexanderhamilton5593 That’s incredible!!! For DCL or another park?
Hey I just went to one in NYC as well and made it to the end I got an offer a few hours after the audition! Best of luck!
@@AJDelRose Wow! What a quick turnaround! Do you know what ship you’ll be on?
@@rachelsteingesser inaugural for the treasure I leave next month!
@@AJDelRose omg congrats!! That’s so exciting ☺️ I hope you have the best time!!!
Omg I’m late but that’s insanely amazing. Congratulations on such a quick turnaround!
Can’t wait to hear about this one for you!
Thank you! ☺️
Random question, but do you know what song the dance was choreographed to? I auditioned and can’t remember the song and it’s been driving me nuts 😂
@@tiffanyvkrush ooh boy I have no idea I’m sorry!!
Tell me why when I did a character performer audition the dance was so difficult and technical :( I'm no dancer, I am a mover lolll
Awh!! I’m sorry to hear that! Learning choreo on the fly is definitely trickier for non-dancers! I totally get it. I hope you still had fun!!
