  • In the third episode of this web series "The Path of Kriya Yoga", we explore some of the frequently asked questions on the path of yoga and meditation - What is kundalini? What are ida, pingala and sushumna? Do we need to awaken kundalini on the spiritual path, and if so, how do we do that? We will discuss the answers to these questions and the principles of working with subtle energy
Part 1 of the talk on spiritual evolution, anatomy & astrology

Very refreshing presentation Vajra Bhai. Beautiful and genuine and blessed. May I share that as well as the analogy of boat and anchor, we can view the Kula Kundalini from the perspective of the Torus geometry. So let's say that KK is conceptually at the base of the Torus Field and the spine runs through the centre of the Torus and Sahasrara is of course conceptually at the top (I write conceptually because near the end, at least from my experience, everything goes into the super compressed pointless point where space is no longer and time is about to release it's secret). The Sushumna is Zero Point Field. Therefore we understand that the body of the Torus is arising from or resting in Zero Point Field. The entire Torus body is made from Kula Kundalini and She arises out of Siva. Therefore every point as a particle or wave function that makes up the Torus body is a Union (Yog) of Zero Point and Kula Kundalini.....of Siva and Sakti. The Torus body is merely a representation of it's centre and the centre is merely a representation of the leela play of Zero (or zero and one / "zero not zero") which is the representation of Ineffable Infinity.
Therefore the aforementioned analogy (in the video) of KK as an anchor can be understood that it's of being anchored to the concept play of the Torus body as being truth.......when in fact we already understand that the Torus body cannot be truth, because every part of the Torus body is relatively existing or resting in the Zero Point Field, so the Torus body can only be dream truth. Thus, we can in some way say that KK is dormant but actually she's not really dormant otherwise Creation as a whole would not be "on" (there would be no Torus body) and the body of the spiritual practitioner would also not be existing (nor watching this video and reading this writing), because all that is manifest is made from Her. So really it's more like She is a light switch dimmer which, as She rises, She turns up the Illumination.....because She also is the Light ......the Energy and Light as One and Chief Engineer. So simply, She IS awake, always, but She won't rise and increase the Energy / Light until the system is ready, because She's the Mother (Chief Engineer) and naturally She understands when Her Torus body is ready to be filled with Her illuminating / electrical capacity.
Therefore, as KK rises through Sushumna, the relative dream reality of the Torus body becomes clearer and clearer and thus the "anchor effect" is diminished, just as when one is in a dark room and superimposes their own belief / perception on what the room is made from, what is in the room and what activity should follow as a product of the deluded perception ......and then the light switch dimmer goes up and as the illumination increases, so the previous perception is recognised as having been a conceited delusion and is thus abandoned (hopefully with immense remorse at the previous conceited perception and thus immense humility). The greater the abandoment and humility (which are inseperable), the smoother and faster She will accept to rise......thus the anchor effect is more and more dissolved. It is more or less a rule that the more the practitoners intention is "altruisitic" in motivation, the smoother and faster the process will be. The altruistic intention must of course be rooted in the wisdom of Siva as Zero or Non-being Essentiality. This general rule is natural, because Adi Sakti is Infinite Kindness (as the Mother is Infinite Inclusiveness) and thus the more we attune ourself to Infinite Kindness, the more we realise that actually we are Her (Child is a copy of the Mother). Then it becomes that She is rising within HerSelf and thus the whole experience can be more playful as divine leela. That is why the highest Masters who do the highest practices to benefit Creation and the souls therein, are doing immense Param Adi Sakti worship and devotion. They know the entire Tantra (technology) of Creation is made from Her, so if Creation needs adjusting, evolutionary acceleration to compassionately help alleviate the suffering, it's through aspiring to fulfill Her Motherly wishes. Thus they focus to become Her. In a way, God really is a Lady. Of course beyond, transcendent, but as far as a logical working laboratory situation goes, God is Golden Infinite Oceanic Lady.

Mr. Sairaman, have you figured out the relationship between kundalini yoga and gravity? I’ve found that KY is a motion rhythm where we do “half” turns with the pelvis to always keep our skeletal mass/weight bearing line in front of sushumna (the straight, immovable gravity cylinder), so as to avoid the force of gravity and not fall back. Those half pelvic turns produce the three and a half coils (all half turns) on the vertebral spine, to always keep the spine in front of sushumna, which keeps the head feather-like balanced. The rhythm technique instructions are all those symbols on the chakras, the three nadis and coiled serpent. I’ve also found that the only source of KY knowledge is on those symbols. I’ve found no other source. Have you found some other source?

Controlled hyperventilation is your lost pranayama. (Lowering c02) the venous blood.
Also, if you cannot enter the middle you cannot do kriya yoga.
The middle is where you must go, once you enter, you will feel heat. Steady yourself and breath the special pranayama. Dont be rough with it. Be light and near silent with breathing. Enter middle, breath silently yet fully.
In this way you will be on the path of urdhvareta. Without being in the middle there is no kriya yoga.
It is the lightning path. Yet ONLY if you enter the middle. An hour a day for a month or two an you can be a perfect bramacharya ready to rejuvenate the body.
Yet only if you enter the middle. Without entering the middle, it will never happen.

The other side is kevela kumbhaka. Which is not the 'fruit' or culmination of pranayama. It is an entirely different practice.
Pranayama expressly does not equal kevela kumbhaka. At least in the way I practice it.
Which is the way that results in rejuvination when done intensely.
Rejuvination is like 20 years of cultivation in an instant. The body turns solid red, among other more important things.
You can breath purposly while doing kevela kumbhaka, your breathing would continually slow and stop on it's own with enough intensity, however you can breath and do pranayama if you so will it at any time. You can, enter the middle, while doing pranayama that makes the body buzz, and practice kevela kumbhaka together, very very easily.
Breathing cessation is a result. However breath cessation is not the result of any sort of breathing. (=
Not kevela kumbhaka anyway. You can make the body vibrate, lower blood c02, an thus not have to breath. However this is not kevela kumbhaka. Kevela kumbhaka is..intamitley related to a focused mind. Like being in the *zone* while cleaning or working, or ready a book. However it is not focus, nor is slowing of breathing while ready a book or focusing kevela kumbhaka. That is because focus alone doesnt involve the body. Imagine playing timed chess agienst someone. You're focused, but your body gets involve as you internally exert yourself to the edge in order to win the game. That internal exertion when on the cusp of winning a game or competing. Slows your breathing to near or fill stand still. Your body gets hots, your mind ever more focused. THAT is kevela kumbhaka. That is the flow state athletes riding bikes down mountains at 90 miles an hour enter. The cusp. So, develope it. Because it also forces the vital forces in the body upwards. (= you'll need an extreme of it, which at the extreme is basically straight up flexing, yet still internal exertion. Strong enough to elicite an endorphine release that lasts 1 to 2 hours. Endorphines are only released via pain or extreme physical stress.
Anyway good luck! Aha. Connect the dots. (=

    • @yogisaiganesh
      @yogisaiganesh  2 роки тому

The reproductive organs are the 2nd chakra. So, ida and pingala intersect at that point where they are located. So, speaking technically neither right nor left. Between muladhara and swadhisthana pingala passes on the right

This is based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. I can certainly attest based on my experience in the practice of Kriya yoga meditation - but that is only secondary to the fact that these were presented by Yogananda, and came through an enlightened lineage of Gurus
