There is an argument to be made that he is facing trial due to who he is. But he should certainly be prosecuted, though he had previously agreed a plea-deal. It seems that Republicans are in favor of some gun-control laws after all. The charges he faces in Delaware would not be indictable in Texas, but different states have different laws. And Judge Norieka was nominated by Trump.
They just want our laws upheld for the president's son just as any other American.
If you lie on a form 4473 is a federal crime. Background checks are runned by the FBI, a federal agency.

We're all for hold people accountable and Trump should have been held accountable for his misdemeanors. Except the NY prosecutors inflated misdemeanors into 34 felonies in the case of Trump charges, unlike Hunter Biden's charges, which are actual federal felonies. For Trump's charges, no state prosecutor has ever charged federal election laws as a predicate for a state crime, unlike Hunter Bidens charges which get charged as routine business for federal prosecutors.

The trial should be held at the Villages in Florida, include an all conservative jury, heard by conservative judge, that donated to the Trump campaign, with the judge slapping a gag order on the biden's*, sustains all the prosecutions objections, and over rules all the defense objections. I mean, just to be as fair as the Trump trial
