yessss ugh i remember watching Hala Hala for the first and loving the fact they were all masked! the reason why i loved it (other than the lore that comes with it) is because this was released during their first comeback after debuting so it felt like ateez wanted people to not get distracted with each member's face but instead to completely focus on the choreography! it's like they're highlighting their strong dancing capabilities. Not to mention also their presence alone when it comes to performing without even needing to see their face but rather how they move as a unit. i just thought it was a GREAT way to showcase their showmanship and how they truly are born to perform. you cant even tell or point out ateez from the actual back up dancers, that's how good they are in blending in next to professional dancers and keeping up with them. thank you so much for this reaction and aaaa can't waaait for the guide!!!

These guys practice very hard and for long hours, both with and without BBTrippin' (their main choreographers and the backing dancers). If you watch some of their dance practices, you'll see just how hard they work to get that synchronization.

This is going to be a long comment & it is about their lore (basics): There are 3 universes -> A universe, Z universe and an universe in between.. ATEEZ; the eight boys met in A Universe and became friends, since they share same interests in music and so on.. HALATEEZ; the members in black outfit with masks and hats are in the Z universe (strictland “Halazia” mv).. we dont know yet how did they became a group and so on, all we know is that they try to take down the government in the Z universe.. the government controls people, they are not allowed to do music, it is forbidden to dance & to have / feel different kind of emotions.. (like in the book / movie 1984 from George Orwell) HALATEEZ couldnt take down the government so they need help from ATEEZ… And how do they the traveling from the Z universe to the A universe? with the so-called “Cromer” which is a hourglass ⏳.. also ATEEZ can travel from the one universe to the other - with the cromer ofc The white-masked man, who shows up at the beginning and ending of the Answer MV is working for the government & his mission is to get the ”Cromer” so HALATEEZ and ATEEZ cannot communicate..
