Bray's characters just became increasingly convoluted as time went on. For the hardcore fans, those willing to dive into all the extracurricular stuff, it works... but for the average fan whom only watches the main show and ignores the surrounding culture, all the deeper narrative aspects just don't hold water. I'd argue that the WWE failed the Cult Leader Bray Wyatt aspect because they kept him going against the top guys and had him lose the major matches that he really needed to win. Of course, I think the entire thing would have been better to actually have him be a cult leader and entrap other people, much like he did Daniel Bryan. He should have been a corrupting influence, but they decided to try that shit on Cena, and everybody knew he wasn't ever going to turn heel. Cena should have been among the last guys to face the Cult Leader and the leadup going in being the fact that Cena was the only one that wouldn't turn against the wider WWE universe. His off-stage segments should have been about turning the management toward his side, allowing him to freely break rules in matches to get over on his opponents while abusing the fact that they couldn't do so. It would only be at his discretion that his opponent could finally get a win and, in doing so, they would become indebted to the family.

Alright, I wanted to talk about this for a long time now. Everytime a wrestler or their storylines succeed, people seem to always only give credit to the performers, no one EVER says ''Wow, Roman and the bloodline have been fantastic, the writters and production have done a great job'' No, people only praise the talent involved. BUT, when something majorly fails, people put all the blame on the staff, writters and production. Wyatt has had a lot of success with the cult leader gimmick and the cinematic match he had against Cena was superb, however, other projects that invovled Wyatt, like the House of horrors, the swamp fight against Braun, and everything regarding Uncle Howdy were, at the very least, pretty mediocre. But in those cases, most people blame it on WWE, saying it's their fault those pieces of production failed. When we look at what has succeded and what has failed with Wyatt, it's almost a 50/50, when it succeeds, it's all because of his brilliant mind, but when it fails, it's WWE's fault, or so fans seem to claim. This is not me saying Wyatt doesn't have a great mind for wrestling, but it is clear as water that for every good idea he has, there's one or two very bad ones in between.
Who books the finishes in WWE? The wrestler themselves or the production team and writers? Well, we all know it is Vince and probably Triple H close second who get the final say. And Vince has said it himself, give him the blame for bad storylines and finishes and then the credit for good storylines and finishes. The talent do their job in the ring and Wyatt has done very well. He has a compelling character. That's what you want to do as a wrestler, compel the fans to want to watch more and keep watching. When Wyatt was doing the Firefly Fun House and Fiend character I was interested. I didn't care about much else but those segments and that storyline I wanted to see more. It was super disappointing to see The Fiend lose by referee stoppage in his first big match on PPV. Imagine going to a Friday the 13th or Halloween film and the FIRST big encounter Freddy or Michael Myers has with another human they shoot him up, hit him with a big hammer and he's done! End of show! You would be livid, total waste of a character and story arc. Plus, I don't know where you are looking, but I see plenty of comments under Bloodline videos where people recognize and praise the creative team on this storyline. They do praise the talent for their roles, because they see it in the ring and that's the talent's job. But many fans understand the greater story, the booking and the finishes are ultimately creative team choices and they appreciate that. Bloodline storyline is now culminating to Jey Uso getting a Undisputed Title Match against Roman Reigns after Usos beat Roman. Would this storyline have been nearly as interesting if Usos lost to Roman and Solo at Money in the Bank? NO. Hell no. Would have sucked the momentum right out from the Usos. This is what has happened to Bray a bunch of times. All this to say that give credit where credit is due and blame where responsibility lies. If Bray's image is hurt by booking decisions where he loses momentum that is the creative team's fault. If Bray's image is hurt by an underwhelming match, that's on Bray. Creative team have given Bray some compelling storylines and satisfying wins to gain momentum, but at the same time, they've cut the legs out as well. I don't think anybody at WWE Creative would suggest they don't drop the ball on some stories or make mistakes.
Tbh the cult leader persons was very good, hope he comes back with it and just continues his career, friend and uncle howdy are tooooo much gimmick and supernatural stuff are not not cool nowadays
I loved the cult leader gimmick of course but U do think the Fiend and Uncle Howdy stuff had tons of potential, it just needed to be booked right which obviously wasn’t what happened :/
It’s been nearly two days, yet still cannot process this. I was eagerly waiting for his return, but all wishes cannot be fulfilled. It's alarming that how unpredictable and uncertain our lives are! Bray Wyatt aka Windham Rotunda was one of my favourite WWE superstars of all time. "Let me in" "We're here" "Run" "He's got the whole world in his hand" and many more. Actually I'm at a loss for words right now. Just want to say #ThankYouBray 🩵 “He won’t see the sun again”
Cena did a LOT more damage to Bray's momentum in 2014 than you gave him credit for. Becoming just another victim of Super Cena made Bray's character seem less threatening until 2019. He just treaded water in that 5 year time period. Even when he got the WWE Title the first time, the damage was done.
There was no chance in Cena ever turning heel at that point... so Bray should have never had a match with him in the first place. The narrative going in meant Bray could only ever win the feud is Cena turned heel which is antithetical to how the WWE was treating Cena. If you have to do Wyatt vs Cena, you do it after a couple years when Wyatt had an established history of winning and corrupting other stars to his side. Cena becomes the nuclear option, being the only star in the company that realistically had no chance of ever joining the family.
@lo4tr That's a lot better than what they came up with, but ultimately all road led to Cena in the end either way. Bray should have just been kept away from Cena unless the feud had a different plot where Bray actually had a chance of winning, or at the very least made it look like they both won in some way.. Bray just straight up losing and then accepting defeat made his character seem lesser than Cena (something WWE did A LOT between 2005 -2017) and made Bray seem like he was a lot less of a threat.
@@Uohhhh777 Definitely not. Even being able to face The Undertaker brought Bray up another level plus the promos for the feud was great. Losing to Cena killed his character's momentum and made him look like everyone else.
I just think that some of the stuff he was booked to do was really weird especially the overdone supernatural stuff, it didnt need to be an 80s spooky movie with this guy 😭😭
@@Wrestleology I think you're speaking for yourself and other fans that like a more grounded to reality product. I understand and respect preferences, but the so called "reality era" has plenty of hokey stuff. Cruiserweights beating HW's on a consistent basis and the acrobatic styles are fake looking as it gets. Kayfabe being dead doesn't add to the believability. So I honestly don't mind the supernatural stuff as long as the execution is good. Bray is so good he can make you suspend disbelief. What he does is more convincing than hearing someone like Lashley cut a promo. Here's the thing, regardless of what the IWC thinks Wyatt has been the #2 guy in the company since 2019. At one point his popularity and merch trumped Reign's. The only thing that has kept him back is creative and booking decisions from Vince and HHH. That LA Knight feud was great until they forced that Mountain Dew Sponsorship that WWE bragged about "We made a million"
@@SmoothSportsGaming Wyatt is top 5 for me of the modern era and I don’t mind the supernatural stuff of the Fiend and other things but the tacky things like worms in the ring are the things I mentioned that I wasn’t a fan of. It’s like you said, supernatural can be good (I mean think of Taker) as long as it’s booked right and it seems like WWE dropped the ball every time when it came to long term booking for Bray and any of his characters
I still can’t believe he’s gone… I’m going to miss husky,I’m going to miss the fiend, and I’m going to miss bray wyatt. At least you can finally get to see Harper again 😢😢
I'm be 100% honest since Bray lost to Goldberg I said I was done with WWE and mostly stood by that I watched the first covid show out of curiosity on how they react and that years wrestlemaina because bray and aj both had cinematic matches but I have not seen a show since I thought what's the point we get attached to these characters and the WWE ruins it's a shame
its like climbing up stairs and slipping every time you get the the top. the supernatural stuff doesnt work as well nowadays. its fine using it a bit but when you make their whole character rely on it you cant make them work properly with a regular superstar
I agree. Taker in the 00s didn’t use it too much. Also evil AJ from TNA had a bit of supernatural ish but it wasn’t too much. Bray is like myself personally I don’t know if scattered brain would be the best way to describe him, but he has so many ideas which is amazing, but can’t stick to one in build off of that. I can’t even tell if he’s a face or heel sometimes. personally, he is one of my favorites of all time because of his versatile/promo. I’m a strong believer in if you’re a heel be evil and don’t be intriguing with your words too much be ruthless. But if you’re a face just be courageous and less supernatural.
Since his return it was just far too much setup and basically no pay off. There was 4 months in-between him coming back and his first match and we knew nothing more than we did by that point from when he did that first promo. Before anyone says anything about slow burn stories, you still need to give people a reason to care which he didn't. Why would I care what Uncle Howdy is doing when I don't know who or what his goal is to begin with and that would have been fine for maybe 2 months but 4-6? With no explanations for anything? This is just failure of basic storytelling, you can't just expect people to keep coming back when you're not giving them anything to latch onto. I'm not a Bray hater, I was very happy to see him back but that whole thing was nothing short of a complete disaster and I haven't even mentioned the dropped story with Alexa Bliss.
We blame WWE Creative for the projections on the ring, and the house of horrors. However, I feel like some of that is also brays idea. People who are extremely creative often have many bad if not more bad ideas as they do extremely creative and innovative ideas. Hence, the uncle howdy character, stories circulated for months that Bray had darn near all creative control over the character and it still failed.
Maybe, I feel like we won’t truly know until Bray is fully retired and telling stories about the stuff behind the scenes. And I do agree with you that the Uncle Howdy character didn’t really work, I think they tried to keep the mystery for too long and the fact that we never got a reveal or ending made it worse too :/
It’s tragic how many gimmicks and characters were shot down again and again. Crazy though that despite so many losses he left such a massive impact on so many fans. RIP legend
The fans weren't really into the Firefly Funhouse right away. They thought it was too cheesy. It came off as Mr. Rogers hosting Peewees playhouse. No one was taking it seriously. The debut of the Fiend persona saved it.
Wyatt and his fans failed Wyatt. They made him feel like he was better than what he actually was. Dude has feuds with the biggest names and he still was a let down. They even gave him creative freedom and he still failed. But blaming WWE and Vince is the cool thing to do
I really appreciate your content I appreciate your opinions on these matters as a wrestling fan. In my opinion I think bray should go back to bray wyatt family it was something we couldn't wait to see every week , bray wyatt was more twisted and cult like figure , very magnificent skills on the mic and when he speaks the crowd listens. I dont think I ever heard the fiend speak.
Sometimes Bray Wyatt character is too complex and when that happen there's some things he can't convert to be realistic enough for audience in the ring and that's hurt him. His new character also got hurt because he's on smackdown and smackdown firstly is very thin in singles competition that's why he had to feud with LA Knight and secondly 2 hours of smackdown wasn't enough for cryptic character like Bray had. I hope he move to Raw upon his return or if he stays on Smackdown he should makes adjustment to his current character to be more simple rather than complex slow burn like before.
I dont know the man, but, i have heard some very damning things that make it hard to blam the company, i love his character and his stories i want nothing but the best for him but, in life you can only burn a bridge some many times
I love Bray Wyatt, but that uncle howdy gimmick is not it. Like his best work is his early days cult leader gimmick & fiend persona. But this new character is just a bit too much. And him not feuding with opponents that make sesne really destroyed his character.
Too much character not enough in ring work. He may be a great wrestler but his gimmick doesn’t allow for great matches. Undertaker and Kane had a in ring style that didn’t get completely overshadowed by all the magic they did. Meanwhile Brey wants his character to do too much bullshit in the ring. Have him just wrestle and he would have succeeded
Im sick and tired of this woe is me thing with Bray Wyatt. I was a fan of cult leader Bray, i was HUGE on The Fiend, and his return at extreme rules were goosebumps like pro wrestling can only provide. But after that, for the firat time i believe in his career, they really gave the reigns to Bray creatively and told him to steer the horse and Bray led it straight into the middle of the desert, lost, and no water in sight
Why are so many people clueless when it comes to Bray Wyett? Can he have 100% control over his character? NO! That's not how wrestling works! HE hasn't came up with ANY good ideas. If you really paid attention all of his "good ideas" are just copying TNA storylines and putting a little twist to it. Like the Compound match was a knock off to the Hardy's final deletion match. Bray has not created ANYTHING just copied other companies.
NO . . . WWE failed him . . . First, they bring him into the company, then release him, then TRY to bring him back again . . . Vince knew that Bray was creative and wanted his creativeness to flourish, but WWE SH*TTED all over that and kept him out of the company
Imma be real. Bray Wyatt was that good and here my explanation, pretty simple actually: He either has to win in a dominanting fashion or it’s not “Good”. I’ll add, he doesn’t look good in defeat, when he loses it’s almost the end of the world.
He should be leading a stable and should wrestle at PPVs only and sometimes maybe normal shows, he also has great mic skills so he can easily carry that part of the stable while being a kind of a special attraction. Also at 0:32 you said Bray created the Firefly Funhouse match which is not true, John Cena created that match from scratch and he said it in an interview.
John said he HELPED the match together. Not create the match itself. He just wanted to clarify as most assumed bray was 100% of the creative behind it.
This is my first time watching this, all the emotions from his debut, from all the dumb losses, dumb booking, questionable match situations always happening all came back. I never understood why he lost all the time, why they wouldn’t stop forcing us Roman when bray was right there killing it every week. I was so happy for him returning then he’s gone forever, I’m still shook by his death and I’m so happy to run into this video! Rip bray Wyatt
The Fiend was one of those characters that never and didn't need a world or any championship. It's storylines were made around the Fiend going after people that had wronged Bray. It was like The Undertaker in a sense. A benevolent figure who was just above titles
He has a great knack for creating characters and could maybe be on the creative team. But I was never able to get behind the fiend when he would come out with that big gut.
I think the only times he really had a chance was his first main roster push and The Fiend, everything else he was already kinda stale. I think if he got a major push any other time it wouldn’t have worked.
The cult leader persona was waaaaay better than the fiend charachter. Honestly Kane was the last person to create a truly scary and menacing charachter. All the ones after are just cringe.
Agreed. Edge didn’t wanna go the supernatural route hence he left JD shortly after debuting them but Bray could bring JD back on their original plan(imagine the Fiend and Demon Balor together in purple)
Don't wish for them to be saddled with his dreck. Finn is bad enough, they should be actively purging him as we speak, not adding another failed 2010s guy.
Bray works well when he is not over exposed. If he had a similar schedule to Roman where he competes mostly on PLE/PVP, and actually won consistently in brutal fashion, he would have stayed completely over and actually feared by the WWE universe/the roster. The Fiend was amazing and synonymous with Kane on his debut. A monster to be feared. They ruined it at the HIAC. And even till now they haven’t used him properly. He shouldn’t have won the title, he should be a boogeyman for the roster.
WWE DID give that jobber all the creative freedom in the world. He just has uncontrolled eating habits, poor gym habits, and never bothered learning how to wrestle. His fault, not theirs.
Even the undertaker was decent in the ring yet he is most recognized by his character work and stories Wyatt is no different the difference here is that most his characters are his idea and not Vince he is a rare Jem in this company yet these idiots in the writing team Don't know how to capitalize on his creativity
Who'd wanna work w Bray? They made him too mysterious. Make him human like again or repackage. Don't force superstars to "change" after feuding w him. Heck, Seth had to figure out a new persona and get it over, which took 5.5 years and 4 iterrations (Messiah, Fashion Icon, Joker, Face Joker) to get over that Fiend Feud and hold a world championship title again. He can't go back to King/Beast Slayer (which felt like his most likeable and natural gimmick) anymore which i feel is why he resents working w Bray so much. It kills careers lol. Doesn't apply w LA Knight, that was literally his first feud on the main roster and the fact that he can naturally go over w/ his mic skills despite racking up Ls (which btw, Knight carried the buildup to that Bray feud every week).
Seth was getting stale around that time and everything that followed was way better. He was so vanilla and weak on the mic. He needed to turn heel. Also do we forget the damage HIAC did to both? That was all Vince. The Miz as a face also needed to turn heel, and Bryan "survived" Also WWE is just terrible at assigning things after a Wyatt feud. They make the wrestler go on a losing streak. Honestly they could just have the character have more edge, not necessarily turn heel LA Knight feud was just great all around. WWE just screwed both of them with the Mountain Dew Sponsorship. Seth Rollins really did damage to himself by not being captivating enough. The fans turned on him because The Fiend was a way cooler than him. Current Rollins would've been fine coming out of a Wyatt feud Instead of taking responsibility and blaming creative and himself he does massive damage to Bray by going public with that nonsense. Now everyone just regurgitates the same thing
@@WrestleologyI think they need to stop throwing him in world title matches his character doesn’t need a title none of them like the undertaker. The fiend as world champ was so stale to me. It’s like wwe forgot how to build up anything but world champs. Bray could of been an amazing if they took more notes from kanes earlier career imo.
ngl, Bray return with uncle howdy & all his firefly fun house human size characters are so epic & perfect timing. I hope those firefly fun house members really get a proper booking while Bray as thehlir master, their manager or the one who control them
They keep doing this man so dirty, I wouldn't be surprised if we soon see him grace the squared circle on AEW sooner then later. The WWE creative team was being selfish and petty because Bray had better ideas for himself then they did, so they locked a shackle on his ankle and never let him rise through the ranks like he damn well should have.
Today we lost one of the absolute most creative minds in wrestling :(

RIP, BRAY
Goldberg beating the Fiend put a dent in my passion of being a wrestling fan, to this day it’s a decision I hate the most
Such a dumb moment
Tbh the cult leader persons was very good, hope he comes back with it and just continues his career, friend and uncle howdy are tooooo much gimmick and supernatural stuff are not not cool nowadays
I loved the cult leader gimmick of course but U do think the Fiend and Uncle Howdy stuff had tons of potential, it just needed to be booked right which obviously wasn’t what happened :/
@@Wrestleologyagreed. I actually liked it. It just needs a proper booking.
wyatt himself said he never wants to bring it back, due to Brodie passing it wont feel the same
No Longer possible 😔
It’s been nearly two days, yet still cannot process this. I was eagerly waiting for his return, but all wishes cannot be fulfilled. It's alarming that how unpredictable and uncertain our lives are! Bray Wyatt aka Windham Rotunda was one of my favourite WWE superstars of all time. "Let me in" "We're here" "Run" "He's got the whole world in his hand" and many more.
Actually I'm at a loss for words right now. Just want to say #ThankYouBray 🩵
“He won’t see the sun again”
The last sentence really gets me. He'll be watching all wwe matches with Terry and brodie
So did Undertaker
@@Uohhhh777l
@@Uohhhh777 Definitely not. Even being able to face The Undertaker brought Bray up another level plus the promos for the feud was great. Losing to Cena killed his character's momentum and made him look like everyone else.
Bray had ups and downs but ultimately deserved better, Rest in peace Windham we love you and miss you 😭
RIP Bray Wyatt 🙏🙏
I wish Bo Dallas returns as Uncle Howdy and continues Wyatt's legacy 🙏
Edit: HE'S HERE ❤️🔥
He returned to induct his father and uncle in the HoF and honored Bray with his sister
Apparently in the Peacock Documentary they teased Uncle Howdy and also there were some sneaky things in the RAW After Mania
Glad to see it’s actually happening
RIP Bray😢 I can't believe he's gone
I disagree that WWE failed him. It goes both ways WWE sometimes overexposed him and he also couldn’t pull off some of the supernatural stuff properly
I just think that some of the stuff he was booked to do was really weird especially the overdone supernatural stuff, it didnt need to be an 80s spooky movie with this guy 😭😭
I mean the fiend was booked atrociously, that gimmick had so much potential
Can't be both ways if Brey has no say on his win lose record
@@Wrestleology
I think you're speaking for yourself and other fans that like a more grounded to reality product.
R I P BRAY WYATT THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR GREAT WORK
RIP Bray Wyatt, follow the fireflies.
Rest in peace to the legend that WWE never deserved
You were to greatest to ever do it yet you were denied your rightful glory 💔
Sigh. We NOW know what was really happening... RIP Bray
WWE really dropped the ball with Bray. He was an amazing soul and he will be missed. He was the only reason I watched wrestling. R.I.P.
Just like luke harper. RIP
Same
this is so sad, watching it after he left us :( rip bray
I still can’t believe he’s gone… I’m going to miss husky,I’m going to miss the fiend, and I’m going to miss bray wyatt. At least you can finally get to see Harper again 😢😢
The last few seconds made me tear up but this was a great video. RIP Bray Wyatt🕊🤍
Rewatching this after getting the news about Windham Rotunda today. Such an amazing and talented human being. RIP
Great video. Thank you for creating it
its like climbing up stairs and slipping every time you get the the top. the supernatural stuff doesnt work as well nowadays. its fine using it a bit but when you make their whole character rely on it you cant make them work properly with a regular superstar
Honestly they could have done alot with Bray like even put him in horror movies or even invite the actors from The Devil's Rejects.
The original Fiend character was by far his best imo. I wish he had just come back and continued with that rather than trying to switch it up again.
They killed that character when he loss to Goldberg idk why anybody would want a 53 year old champion SMH
@@monnyo1123 yeah but then he was away for some years after he got fired so he could've easily come back as the Fiend.
RIP Bray Wyatt. He should have been bigger than he was.
And I do agree with you that the Uncle Howdy character didn’t really work, I think they tried to keep the mystery for too long and the fact that we never got a reveal or ending made it worse too :/
RIP, BRAY 😔
It’s tragic how many gimmicks and characters were shot down again and again. Crazy though that despite so many losses he left such a massive impact on so many fans. RIP legend
Thank you for making this amazing Video, about an amazing man 🙏♥️
R.I.P. Wyatt
RIP Bray 😢Fly high and thanks for the memories. Had a heart of gold. Gonna miss you 😢
Bray Wyatt did awesome for the WWE
RIP Bray, you’ll be missed
Can't happen anymore 😔
Sometimes Bray Wyatt character is too complex and when that happen there's some things he can't convert to be realistic enough for audience in the ring and that's hurt him. His new character also got hurt because he's on smackdown and smackdown firstly is very thin in singles competition that's why he had to feud with LA Knight and secondly 2 hours of smackdown wasn't enough for cryptic character like Bray had. I hope he move to Raw upon his return or if he stays on Smackdown he should makes adjustment to his current character to be more simple rather than complex slow burn like before.
too complex? serious!?
😢
I dont know the man, but, i have heard some very damning things that make it hard to blam the company, i love his character and his stories i want nothing but the best for him but, in life you can only burn a bridge some many times
I love Bray Wyatt, but that uncle howdy gimmick is not it. Like his best work is his early days cult leader gimmick & fiend persona. But this new character is just a bit too much. And him not feuding with opponents that make sesne really destroyed his character.
As much as I dislike WWE, I don't think anyone is to blame for Bray Wyatt's RECENT failure, other than Bray Wyatt.
man, its been a while now since bray's passing, and i'm still not over it. I'm always gonna be part of the fireflies.
Rest In Peace 🙏🏽 In Heaven 🙏🏽 Bray Wyatt we will all miss you so much our prayers 🙏🏽 go's too he's Family and friends 🙏🏽
He’s got the whole world in his hand ls 😭🙏
a very true loss I still can't believe that he is gone😢
Why are so many people clueless when it comes to Bray Wyett? Can he have 100% control over his character? NO! That's not how wrestling works! HE hasn't came up with ANY good ideas. If you really paid attention all of his "good ideas" are just copying TNA storylines and putting a little twist to it. Like the Compound match was a knock off to the Hardy's final deletion match. Bray has not created ANYTHING just copied other companies.
After 1 month since this video, Bray wyatt passed away
NO . .
I’ll add, he doesn’t look good in defeat, when he loses it’s almost the end of the world.
and Unfortunately the story of Bray Wyatt ends today RIP Windham Rotunda Aka Bray Wyatt
R.I.P Bray Wyatt
He should be leading a stable and should wrestle at PPVs only and sometimes maybe normal shows, he also has great mic skills so he can easily carry that part of the stable while being a kind of a special attraction. Also at 0:32 you said Bray created the Firefly Funhouse match which is not true, John Cena created that match from scratch and he said it in an interview.
Thing is I feel like he needs those normal shoes to build up his story
John said he HELPED the match together. Not create the match itself. He just wanted to clarify as most assumed bray was 100% of the creative behind it.
RIP, BRAY 😔
Bray Wyatt is super underrated. Good in the ring and phenomenal on the mic.
I think that is why he should have beat Orton at WrestleMania
RIP bray😢
He has a great knack for creating characters and could maybe be on the creative team. But I was never able to get behind the fiend when he would come out with that big gut.
I'll say from the moment the Wyatt Family debuted on Raw, they all became immortalized
Bray said that The Fiend is a Horror Movie Character so I'm guessing That Maybe Bray Wyatt was also a Horror Movie Character/Cult Leader
This is a friendship that will NEVER EVER end !!!
I think the only times he really had a chance was his first main roster push and The Fiend, everything else he was already kinda stale. I think if he got a major push any other time it wouldn’t have worked.
Bray is going to come back in SummerSlam this year I think there were some reports suggesting his return till summerslam
I hope so 🤞🏼
Rest in peace Bray Wyatt 😢 💔 🙏🏻 my condolences to his family and friends 😢 💔 🙏🏻
R.I.P Bray Wyatt.
His Shtick was taking waaaaay to long, going nowhere fast. On top of being damn near invincible it sucked.
The cult leader persona was waaaaay better than the fiend charachter. Honestly Kane was the last person to create a truly scary and menacing charachter. All the ones after are just cringe.
Kinda pissed at WWE's creative for completely FUBAR'ing his storylines in favor of "more marketable" wrestlers like Orton or Reigns.
If he returns, he could unveil himself as the leader behind the Judgement Day.
I saw a really good Murfs video on how Bray is the real leader of Judgement Day and they are his Wyatt6
And It could lead to a new feud between Bray and Finn
I feel like that would be a slap in a face to JD and would water down everything they put into it
Knowing why Bray and Howdy disappeared now, it makes me tear up. RIP Windham.
I know, that match is absolutely the worst match of the 21st century.
Wwe did screw him over by having the fiend lose to old man goldberg
RIP Bray Wyatt
R.I.P the eater of worlds
Thank you Bray! RIP KING
WWE DID give that jobber all the creative freedom in the world. He just has uncontrolled eating habits, poor gym habits, and never bothered learning how to wrestle. His fault, not theirs.
Even the undertaker was decent in the ring yet he is most recognized by his character work and stories Wyatt is no different the difference here is that most his characters are his idea and not Vince he is a rare Jem in this company yet these idiots in the writing team Don't know how to capitalize on his creativity
evil but 😂 comment
Putting it in that context with Seth just shows how rough it is with Bray damn
Seth was getting stale around that time and everything that followed was way better. He was so vanilla and weak on the mic. He needed to turn heel.
Also do we forget the damage HIAC did to both? That was all Vince. The Miz as a face also needed to turn heel, and Bryan "survived"
Also WWE is just terrible at assigning things after a Wyatt feud. They make the wrestler go on a losing streak. Honestly they could just have the character have more edge, not necessarily turn heel
LA Knight feud was just great all around. WWE just screwed both of them with the Mountain Dew Sponsorship.
Seth Rollins really did damage to himself by not being captivating enough. The fans turned on him because The Fiend was a way cooler than him. Current Rollins would've been fine coming out of a Wyatt feud
Instead of taking responsibility and blaming creative and himself he does massive damage to Bray by going public with that nonsense. Now everyone just regurgitates the same thing
They need to let Bray off the leash more. Let him go do his thing and if he fails, it’s hit fault.
agreed
@@WrestleologyI think they need to stop throwing him in world title matches his character doesn’t need a title none of them like the undertaker. The fiend as world champ was so stale to me. It’s like wwe forgot how to build up anything but world champs. Bray could of been an amazing if they took more notes from kanes earlier career imo.
Gonna miss you man ❤
ngl, Bray return with uncle howdy & all his firefly fun house human size characters are so epic & perfect timing.
Rip bray
Hopefully the rumours are true and he returns at summerslam and regains his momentum
Rest in peace Bray
