Uranus' icy temperatures are largely influenced by the planet's composition. What intrigues you the most about this blue world?

Just had a crazy thought, maybe, a bunch of Earth's water, ammonia, and methane, etc. came to us as a result of Uranus' supposed collision that knocked it on its side.
-and it all made it past Jupiter somehow... (aliens probably)

And if you were to fall on it, it would be like falling through a very smelly hole, getting darker and hotter every second of your journey, until you reach the liquid mantle and get vaporized by it's heat.

@@nikkbronx Observation of the sky coupled with recording those observations began far before the Egyptions. The Greek poster soundling like a My Big Fat Greek Wedding stereotype aside, is actually correct that the formal field of astronomy as a scientific endevour began with ancient Greeks thus the Greek moniker. Prior ancient societies had a more mystical and less regimented take on what became astronomy. (also see mathematics, physics, and a few other fields)
Where the Greek poster might be confused is the reason why so many Greek (and Latin ) words are used in modern science. The convention arose primarily because of nationalist bickering over names. In the case of Uranus, while ancient Greek achievements were magnificent they didn't have a clue Uranus existed. Herschel who discovered it named it "the Georgium Sidus" (the Georgian Planet) in honor of King George III of England. The name Uranus was first proposed by a later German astronomer Johann Elert who had no interest in perpetually calling an entire planet in our solar system after an English king. (ditto for everyone other than anyone English at the time)

1:52 Inaccurate, the earth's axis is slightly tilted at approximately 23.5 degrees. I don't think any of the planets are at a straight 180 or 0 degree angle.
In astronomy, axial tilt, also known as obliquity, is the angle between an object's rotational axis and its orbital axis, which is the line perpendicular to its orbital plane; equivalently, it is the angle between its equatorial plane and orbital plane.[1] It differs from orbital inclination. At an obliquity of 0 degrees, the two axes point in the same direction; that is, the rotational axis is perpendicular to the orbital plane.
Earth's axial tilt (obliquity) is currently about 23.4°.
The rotational axis of Earth, for example, is the imaginary line that passes through both the North Pole and South Pole, whereas the Earth's orbital axis is the line perpendicular to the imaginary plane through which the Earth moves as it rotates around the Sun; the Earth's obliquity or axial tilt is the angle between these two lines. Earth's obliquity oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees[2] on a 41,000-year cycle. Based on a continuously updated formula (here Laskar, 1986, though since 2006 the IMCCE and the IAU recommend the P03 model), Earth's mean obliquity (without taking into account the nutation in obliquity) is currently about 23°26′11.2″ (or 23.43644°) and decreasing; according to P03 astronomical model, its value (without taking into account the nutation in obliquity) was 23°26′11.570″ (23.4365472133°) on January 1, 2021, 0 TT.
Over the course of an orbital period, the obliquity usually does not change considerably, and the orientation of the axis remains the same relative to the background of stars. This causes one pole to be directed more toward the Sun on one side of the orbit, and the other pole on the other side-the cause of the seasons of the earth.
    Tilt of Uranus
The Earth’s axis is tilted about 23.5 degrees. This is why we have seasons on Earth. But the axis of Uranus is tilted so far it’s hard to imagine how it might have even happened. The axis of Uranus is tilted at an angle of 98-degrees compared to the Sun’s orbital plane.
While the rest of the planets in the Solar System can be thought of like spinning tops, Uranus is more like a rolling ball going around the Sun. During the point of the Uranian solstices, one pole faces the Sun continuously, while the other pole faces away. Only a thin strip of the surface of Uranus experiences any kind of night/day cycle. Uranus’ poles experience 42 years of continuous sunlight, and then 42 years of continuous darkness. During the time of the equinox on Uranus, the planet’s equator is facing the Sun, and so it experiences day/night cycles like we have here on Earth.
What could have caused Uranus to be tilted over on its side like this? Astronomers think that a large protoplanet smashed into Uranus billions of years ago. This collision set the planet tumbling. Eventually it settles into its current axial tilt.
Also, I thank you dearly for highlighting my comment, I appreciate it.
