So, if you invited for book chapter by leading publishers like springer, Elsevier, Willey etc. You can publish book chapter with free of cost. Otherwise writing book chapter and pay fee for it at all not a good practice. Bcz book chapter are rarely cited. And books are referd by students and we remember only the book editor/authors but not chapter. So my point of view if you have book chapter then write more book chapter and compile it then publish as a book otherwise reduce reduce the book chapter and publish as a review article. Book chapter are valuable when you publish it in leading publishers without any fee. Thank you
