Quite the disaster game. You know what you could do, you could send the save into this guy, Alex The Rambler, he does saving your disaster games. I think he'd have a right laugh at this game.

I haven't clicked on one of his videos for a long time. The problem is not him. It is hard to see the 'game' in HOI4. It is hard to see choices and gaming interactions in HOI4. The choices in HOI4 feels linear and predetermined. Bit by bit, I am getting glimpses of the gaming interactions when he showed mechanisms such as linking troops and encirclement.
The amount of people you declare war on is how many you have to defeat in order to get the Triumph of Fascism focus, so if you play the mod again, turn historical on, and beat France and the UK, you will have access to the focus. I think it's really cool, you basically call a conference, use 100 political power to turn all of the people in your faction into puppets, and then annex them. If you don't find yourself at war with so many major nations, it's much easier to win with the focus tree.
This video is a great example of why alex the rambler is an amazing Hearts of Iron UA-camr. Because he is extremely competent without being truly unbeatable but often puts himself in risky positions and those elements combined make videos with actual stakes and are intense and interesting beyond the: HA HA rome is back.
Sorta fun fact about Italy. For a short while Italy was technecly an Allied power in the 30s. In short if the Anchluss went badly we could have seen a world war between Italy,France and Britian vs Germany.
I think you should have done the leff path, it gives you all the romance nations as allies and it’s very fun, also it’s easier to create the roman union
I just had a run with this mod, very interesting tree, I found it a bit OP though. If you take a deep look into it there are a lot of interesting stuff and paths. And of course, always go historical, especially with mods, otherwise it's just going to be a big mess.

There is this mod called "Russia Reworked". Its a complete rework of the USSR focus tree and I highly recommend it
