I don't get "anger" from this song, the whole thing sounds melancholy, especially with the piano and 0:25. And matt doesn't look angry either, unlike the description states. He just looks tired. He doesn't want to fight bf anymore, he's given up. This is his final stand, because of no other reason than the fact that he's gotten over his rivalry with this unbeatable foe.
