How much did your brother pay for the pond itself? We are about to build a new pond in the garden but is it better money to buy EZ pond rather than build a whole new pond
I was wondering if your brother has any pictures / video documenting the cladding of the pond. We have been able to get these in the USA for about a year and would love any comments about the install.
look like juveniles of some of the ones you’ve already got love the big ghosties.I see you still haven’t put the lid back on as it’s spring 👍😂 you’ve got no shubunkin’s you know the Motley ones with black orange red white mixed in and there’s no yellow like goldfish yellow why don’t you put some of those really big fat fantails in there the big brain one’s they grow big just a thought a lot of them look a bit samey they’re beautiful fantastic thank all the best guys 👍🇺🇦🏴
Not sure how feasible it is, but wouldn't it be amazing if the pond could be properly aquascaped etc! Wood/rocks and easy growing oxygenating plants etc!
Depends on what people want. Weather they want a tradition ‘koi pond’, which is basically a bare swimming pool style pond. This is so the fish become the main attraction. Or weather people want a ‘water feature’, like what a few companies make over in the us. Ups and downs of both. With a ‘koi pond’ you can keep more fish for the size of the pond because there are no obstructions in the water to hold waste or make the swimming space smaller. With a water feature, the pond can fit right into the natural shape of your garden. However you can’t keep as many fish in a water feature. It’s all what people prefer
@@banditfishing1558 really good and respectful comment mate, respect how calculated that reply is! As most people just give you hate! Yes mate that is very true, I personally think a few rocks/wood and plants would make it look really good! But at the same time I do love how it currently looks as well. I keep all types of fish marine, temperate, tropical etc but never had a pond so I'm very uneducated on ponds if I'm honest mate, but that makes a lot of sense.
@@jhaych I only have a small pond I just don’t have much space. I keep general tropical community fish atm. I have a 5 foot bow front tank sat in my shed waiting to be re setup. Kept a variety of big fish in it. Biggest was a 2 foot clown knife. I am well aware the tank is too small for that fish however I had plans to upgrade. Had to shut the tank down before a bigger tank could be built 😭. But it will be setup again soon 🤞
The koi you’ve got in this pond are unreal mate. The thumbnail makes me laugh😂
Really enjoying your videos Mick keep it up, great effort in traveling around the uk to show off other fish keepers tanks 👍🏻

The new fish don’t look any different to the larger ones.
