@@SonGoku-zr9nc Hi mate I’m currently around 50-60% better which is drastic for me compared to how I was,Had a lot of set backs with thinking I was clever & overdoing things I tore my rib cartilage too a old injury come back to haunt me so had to stop physio only just resumed after letting myself heal so I probably should of been further on,Still have phantom nerve pain which is to be expected,If i do too much my body still lets me know so no I’m not 100% restriction free but I’m sure that will hopefully come over the coming months now I’m back to my physio plan 👍

Good morning
Could you please inform us if the polymer material has any bad effect concerning the allergy towards the blood or the reab of the healing?
After it is possible to return to the normal sport lile the cross training and building movement?
thanks a lot
Dear k. 72, spine implants undergo rigorous testing prior to being approved for medical use. Yes it is possible to return to cross training and resistance training after recovery from surgery. In fact, patients who are committed to the right strength and mobility training are likely to have superior outcomes after motion-preserving spine surgery. Please contact us for more information: spineconnection.org/contact-us/
Potentially polyethylene wear particles are not good for the body. But in TDR they are very insignificant comparing the total knee and hip replacements.
What keeps it from slipping out of position & can it work for S1/L5? I’ve been diagnosed with spondylolisthesis recommended surgery is fusion, S1, L5, and L5, L4.
Dear Dave, for appropriate candidates there are multiple disc models available, each with varying characteristics including footprint, height, angulation, initial and secondary anchoring mechanisms. Yes TDR has been performed at L5-S1 for a long time now. You are welcome to contact us via enquiries@spineconnection.org for an extra opinion. Best regards.

Is the ESP similar to Spinal Kinetics M6?
Hi Michael, both discs are considered new-generation implants that offer movement in 6 directions including vertical compression. They achieve this in different ways. Please contact us at your convenience for an evaluation of your case: spineconnection.org/contact-us/
get a prodics L not m6 .prodics l is more reliable , i have a prodics l on my l4 and l5. Dr bertagnoli is doctor to see in germany .he has over 16,000 successful surgery under name .
Good afternoon, I would like to know the difference between the LDR mobidisc L prosthesis, and the M6L or lp-esp.
Which is better? and why?
Dear Ertxu, we apologize for the delayed reply. Our top specialists use multiple new-generation discs and will recommend the best disc for each patient case and anatomy. Please contact us at enquiries@spineconnection.org and we're happy to assist with any questions. Kind regards, Team SC
M6 is the best of all currently available
get a prodics L save yourself the headache ,m6 fail 99.9% of the time ,prodics l has over 25 years of hard research thats factual . its the most trust implant for the lumbar .
@@alexeyichtchenko4979 the m6 is the worst it has the highest failure rate of all artificial discs
@@SonGoku-zr9nc no dear we implanted more then 6k M6 with only a few failures. I do not know where you have those data from. Mainly because of wrong indications or technique mistakes. But it happens to all technologies with implants.
If I need a TDR I woul choose only M6. I honestly love this implant!
I can't afford to go to Germany for a disc replacement !!!!!!!!!!!!
What about disc degeneration totally and spondylolistheses to third degree.
Hi Sharon, in the case of Grade 3 vertebral slippage, a motion-preserving solution would not be recommended, and a fusion technique would likely be required to safely re-align that spine level. There are less invasive fusion techniques available. Best regards, Team SC
@Spine Connection Thanks. I should bring in a wheelchair but...have defied the odds. That's what they told me 20 years ago. Hopefully the fusion technique is perfected by now.
Thank you for your reply.
What about thoracic
Dear David, we apologize for the late reply. Motion-preserving disc replacement is not available in the Thoracic spine, only the Lumbar and Cervical spine.
I currently have two M-6 lumbar discs. L4-s1. 12 years ago. L3-4 , was also bad at the time of surgery but then no one would do 3 at one time. Now L3-4 is a problem. Can i get it replaced given prior anterior surgery?
Wow really you have them m6 discs implanted 12 years ago? That's a long time. And they are still safe in the right position without complications?
@@SonGoku-zr9nc yes my m6 disc are good. Just got the L3-4 replaced 3 months ago with Act-L
@@thomascampbell5244 why now with acrive L and not M6 again?
@@SonGoku-zr9nc not available in states. Would have preferred an m6 disc, but promised my wife I wouldn’t take her out of the country again for surgery
That’s good to hear the M6 still doing well at 12 years fingers crossed 🤞 I’m the same,If you don’t mind me asking have you had any recent X-rays as to how much they’ve worn or any debris after that timescale please 🙏 👍
