Just ordered GoTrax FLEX - I used the money I saved using your code to extend my warranty. I look forward to using this scooter for local errands ! Ty for your review.
I need the pro model for that little extra range. Come on Gotrax! The XL Elite is still working and running some errands after 3 years. I highly recommend Gotrax for quality and design.
I recently suffered an e-scooter accident with my Apollo Air - I tore a knee ligament and am currently recovering. I'm not riding standing regular e-scooters anymore. This GoTrax seated scooter is my #1 choice right now to replace my Apollo Air and help me start getting some mobility around my neighborhood. I'd say people usually would underestimate how helpful something like this is for people that have mobility issues. Right now the Gotrax Flex is sold out here in Canada, but I'm excited to get this guy to help me start running errands without having to walk so much with my recovering knee.
Love my GOTRAX! Have had it for 3 years and has been the best purchase in though 3 years! This one snuck under my radar but love the sit-down design and basket!
Looking forward to getting mine in a few days. I'm a 60 yr old woman and plan on riding on our bike/hike towpath which is hill free & out of traffic. There's a produce farm market on the path and I can put a few groceries in the basket. Plus, I'm only 5'2 so I think the height will be OK for me. Being my 1st scooter, I think the speed will be enough for me, too.
@@Xvodcaleni Love it. Matter of fact, I put about 500 miles on it last summer & I bought the Gotrax Ultra a few months ago. Been riding it in the bike trails all summer with no problems.
I think it did pretty well going up the hill by my house. If you know the Joker stairs in Bronx, NY, there is a large hill there on Shakespeare avenue, and it did pretty awesome going up that hill. Not sure what the incline is. Mind you, I'm only like 100lbs female.
I'm a big gotrax fan, my first scooter was the gotrax Apex, amazing quality with a price that's hard to argue. Unfortunately it was stolen go I purchased a generic 600w scooter from Walmart with a claimed top speed of 28mph, I could only get it to go 23mph but after shunt modding the controller and replacing the 10ah battery with a 20ah it'll go 27mph but I'd still trade it in a heartbeat for my apex back, sure it only went 15mph but the fit and finish was great, cold and water never bothered it unlike my new one that is affected by a 10mph wind gust lol

Not my kind of thing, but it wouldnt be bad living somewhere in semi-rural area and having to do a short trips everywhere. The price is deffo a plus for what it offers by the looks of it.
If I ever buy a scooter, it's going to be a seated one. Very happy with rental/"shared" scooters in the area. But having the option of Veo's seated scooter is really worth the slightly higher rates. They ride with an upright seated position and legs bent at no more than a 90 degree angle. Leg position is VERY important to me. If I want to tuck my legs under me I'll buy a Ninja motorcycle. I can't sit comfortably at the leg angles small seated scooters require. Veo's seated scooter is just a little under powered on hills but not too bad, I don't have to walk them, just zig zag a little on tough hills. Also the seat seems designed to spread your cheeks apart; no suspension increases that effect. But something like a Veo seated scooter with suspension is what I'm holding out for if I ever buy an e-scooter.
I bought it and love it! It is not for hills, and I miss cruise control from my Gotrax XR Ultra even more than speed and distance. 15mph seems plenty fast and half the time I like to cruise the tree-lined bike trail far slower with frequent pauses. Observe Nature. Eat blackberries. Birds rabbits squirrels and a fox. **Does anyone know if climbing hills very slowly adds distance? ** I would appreciate any answers or links. Thank you.
Nice to see a variety of scooters coming out now and thanks for testing an inexpensive model. Do you know what the specs will be for the upgraded model and when it’s expected to be released?
It's strange there aren't more companies with products that cover this exact need, people would rather sit down than stand up on a scooter, and the old big regulars scooters don't have the same appeal as small mobility
One reason this scooter is so good is that it is basically a copy of the Currie F18 scooter that changed the world forever. Okay so it doesn't have the "600W BMC MAC brushless super torque" motor that woud rip up hills, or the much better front and rear suspension, but it does have big wheels. Bigger in fact than the Currie's 12.5 inch wheels. Bigger wheels are always a good thing. Like you said these scooters are easy to ride, and the front wheel is not going to fall into the first tiny hole you find. Bigger battery and motor will be nice for sure, because this scooter is a comfortable ride and you may not want to stop.
I just bought the Gotrax Flex Ultra on Amazon and it has some pretty great upgrades like a bigger battery, 500w motor, both front and rear suspension, and a display that shows your speed/odometer for $100 more than this one. Will you guys do a review of that model at some point? It's really worth looking at for the budget price range
We are very very stoked for the entire GX series. G5 and G6 should also fill some key holes at those price points that are largely uncompetitive to date, especially as the Segway Max has become more outdated.
Well, looks like work from home will not be a thing, at least for me. So, I’m planing to buy one of these to commute that last mile from the train station to the office. The big question for me is: would it fit inside my compact sedan trunk? (VW Jetta 2017). 😅
I just got 2 gotrax flex ultras. I can not find any review videos on the ultra model. I would love to see you do one. The differences between the flex and flex ultra should justify a separate video. The Ultra has bigger battery, motor, speedometer, and dual suspension. Thank you for your work

Get a Jetson Bolt Pro for about $350 at Costco. Weighs a little more but about the same size folded, but much easier to carry (even 1 hand due to the handle in the middle). I can carry it over large boulders, downed tree bridges, etc. on hiking trails not meant for bikes. 13-14mph (18-19 with the hack). Farther range when you peddle assist; and can still ride it like a reg. bike when out of battery. Going up very, very steep hills is also possible with PAS while this scooter, you won't be able to (or maybe you can do the kick scooter thing).

are you aware of any Gotrax batteries exploding or catching on fire? I would love this scooter, but I have a fear of the lithium batteries being stored in my house in the winter. As long as they are unplugged when not charging, are they generally safe?

You guys have the best channel by far. I have worn down my knees by walking too much, and my doctor says I need to cut back. So I started researching eScooters, however I am short about 5’5”. I jumped on a Segway F35 at Costco, and the handle bars felt a bit high for me. I did look at your Taur review, and you mentioned it being better for shorter people, but I’d like to stay around $1000 or below (and there is a 2 month wait for a Taur). I am leaning towards the uScooter gt sport, for the lighter weight and quality; but I don’t know if it would be to tall for me. Any suggestions are welcome, Thanks, you guys rock!
I just watched three different videos and they say the same thing about this scooter: it reaches a top speed of 15mph to 16 mph which i still don't understand it because i saw this type of scooter description on different websites that clearly state the top speed reaches 20 mph and a 500W motor. is it a lie that it reaches 20mph without any hesitation??
I got simular.. Mine is awful! 😅 SAY YEAH Metro H8P.. But I'm kinda interested in that one. I through mine on bus bike rack.. Disc brakes interfere.. Lack of pedals sucks when hill climbing.. If those wheels where on a mini ebike. That would be the ideal situation for me 😊

I'm 5' 7". Can I sit with my back completely straight vertically and reach the handlebars?
Yes you will be fine!
are you aware of any Gotrax batteries exploding or catching on fire? I would love this scooter, but I have a fear of the lithium batteries being stored in my house in the winter. As long as they are unplugged when not charging, are they generally safe?
We are unaware of any issues with gotrax batteries. The fires are usually low quality China brand batteries on unbranded e-bikes.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide ok, ty!
I never heard of a single battery problem with GOTRAX scooters
I ran over a nail by accident deflating the back tire. Do you know how to remove the tire?
Go to a local tire shop they can help!
Good video I like what GoTrax did with the price & design but they lost me with the hill capability maybe if they add a little more power .
Many other options for sure! -Vosk
Since gotrax new pro is going to have a bigger battery does this mean it will be able to take hills better?Thankyou!
Possibly slightly!
who knows? they don't publish the torque rating on their motors.
Hi, can you show us "how to remove the speed limiter on (Dualtron City)?"
We do not have the dualtron city! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide That's fine. When you have (Dualtron City), please make a new video🙏🙏
Hi ,very interested in getting this one ,only need it to ride around the house, park for about 20 minutes a day ,what would you suggest
Yes that should be fine for your needs. -Vosk
Do you know how well the tires would do on a packed dirt rail trail?
We have not tested it on dirt trails!
packed dirt it does well. loose dirt, forget it.
I'm interested in buying a escooter. Thanks for your review.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
I just got this for 300 and I love it I've done ebike and scooter builds had pre made ebike speedsters and I just love this I can use it all daty to speed through town and have done some small distancs (20-) miles inter city and have yet to have to call a buddy for a pick up. I love this thing
Was it worth the buy
I'd buy that. 🙂
Very cool! Good luck on your purchase. -Vosk

Do you know anything about the swagtron swagcycle or the okai ae10 pro scooter if there any good or not?
No we have not tested those! -Vosk
Is the flex comparable to the Astro? Which one do you all think is better?
Flex
Can you buy replacement tires for this scooter?
Should be available yes!
What are your plans for the Roadrunner Pro?
We are currently testing it! Full Review should be released very shortly. -Vosk
Thanks so much for the kind words! Uscooters GT Sport is a excellent choice. You can also check out the Emove touring
Me too
Is this good if I just want to ride around the neighborhood? I weight 240
You should be fine!
Hi, do you have other discount code that will work today?
The link in description is latest price!
Depends on rider weight and conditions!
Where can I buy one? Because I haven't had any luck so far 😭
Check the link in description!
This might he my next scooter ❤
I got simular.. Mine is awful! 😅 SAY YEAH Metro H8P.. But I'm kinda interested in that one. I through mine on bus bike rack.. Disc brakes interfere.. Lack of pedals sucks when hill climbing.. If those wheels where on a mini ebike. That would be the ideal situation for me 😊
Hopefully you can get a new ride! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide my other bike is a phatmoto rover 😂
How tall is Paul and what does he weigh?? I’m 5’11” 220# and that scooter looked tiny for Paul!!😳😳😳
I’m 5’10” tall and 165 lbs
Ramier is 6’3” and 235lbs

Will you guys be testing the full suspension 500W version ?
Nothing planned as of now!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thanks
Test the long range flex ultra
should i get this or the emove roadrunner ?
Roadrunner is double the speed and battery!
It's also 8 times the price of the Flex lmao!
How's this compared to the phantom r1
We have not tested that one! -Vosk
Could you tell me a rough estimated of how much your buddy in the dope sweater weighs?
Roughly 235lbs
Thank you!! Your channel is great!!! ❤❤
Do you have updated coupon? Thanks!
Currently not! That’s lowest price currently.
Hey guys, I recently got my son the Gotrax G4 for my son but need ideas for my daughter! She rides my sons fine, but needs something smaller. Please help.
What is your price range ? Speed and range needs ?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide $300 play and just cruising with her brother. 10 to 15mph
I saw an 8 year old boy ride the Flex scooter like a champ on his first ride and he loved it.
We're can I find tries and tube for it my son Ned's a tube for it
Contact gotrax for spare parts
Great design for delivery/shopping/errands especially the 14/16in tires which all scooters should come with due to flats IMO. But, it needs minimum 42v, 800w and 20ah battery or swappable battery.
Totally agree! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
they can always do a duel motor like another 350 in the front which I read they're geared hubs with a bigger battery and controller Wud be dope.
Can it fit in the trunk of a sedan?
Where does it show how it folds?
What the video!
Does this have a battery auto shut off when charging
Yes charger does!
That's what I meant
... Lol sorry there
Awesome scooter I have the jeston bolt pro I use the speed o meter app cause it don't have a display as well awesome review guys keep up coming 💪
That's awesome! Thanks for the kind words. -Vosk
Can you test the Jetson Lx 10?
Not in the plans unfortunately! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide sad
Would you recommend the flex over the G4?
Yes it’s easier to ride for sure! You can use code RIDERGUIDE25 for $25 off. -Vosk
Great video subscribed now
I just bought the highboy e-comm 14 seated scooter what do guys like or dislike about this scooter I bought it for $640 MSRP $1099How much better is it then the gotrax flex
Interesting! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Respectfully, they need to incorporate Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries into these scooters. Lithium-Ion batteries can be dangerously combustible. Thanks for your review.
That would be cool
I havent seen Chuck in a while, he still around?
He works behind the scenes!
I think this would be good for me in Florida
