Bajaj Auto is a leading manufacturer of motorcycles and three-wheelers in India. The Bajaj Plant is located in Chakan about 30km outside Pune City. It was opened in 1999 and produces all models of the Pulsar lineup (except the 135LS), the Avenger cruiser and six models of the KTM including the Duke 125 which is produced only for export purposes. During the course of the visit we also learned that in the next three years all the KTM models on sale globally would be produced at the plant. The plant is spread out over a large area and has six production lines, engine assembly line, paint shop, testing facility that includes a race track (on which we saw some secret prototypes doing high speed runs).
It has the capacity to produce 4,000 units a day but works on a demand basis and so on the day of our visit was expected to produce 3,000 units. It employs close to 5,000 people across all facilities located on site and runs two shifts a day for all the Bajaj lines and one shift for the KTM production line. - Авто та транспорт

it was 2007 when i passed 12th and i was given pulsar 150 to go to college. the bike is still with me , although recently i purchased bajaj avenger 220 cruise. my brother also purchased Discover 125 . Bajaj is not just a brand for me, it's my heart beat.
Namaste bajaj India,thx for contributing to the transport chain in Africa specifically,one thing with the most selling model (Bajaj bm 100,flame red in color)is that it has none of these features...fuel gauge,rpm gauge.... otherwise its cool..pliz add these features like u did to bajaj ct 125.....jai hindi.
For past 17 years am using Bajaj 2 wheelers. I start from Safire, Boxer, Caliber now i have Pulsar 220. Its worth to by Bajaj and i 💙it.

Bajaj always provide quality machine and affordable my relatives had bajaj pulsar a decade ago and when i still go to meet my relatives i drove thier pulsar its so good even after 10 years bajaj is truly wonderful
Actually no and yes. Bajaj has it Legebdary Bike in India Pulsar 220.but no they dont make High quality Machines, but they do make Affordable machines at affordable Cost and yes their spare parts are also affordable.considering!🙂
For eg: In comparison with Honda or yamaha bikes. Bajajs bike's chain sprocket will worn off A bit fast. But considering the Chain sprocket price, its Replacement is also affordable.

I have Avenger 220 cruise, 2019 model.
I have done Delhi-Deheadun, Delhi-Shimla-Kufri, Delhi-Agra, Delhi-Gwalior on it. On highways it easily gives 52-55 kmpl at 70-75 kmph speed while in Delhi NCR chaotic traffic it gives 42-45 kmpl.
It is an excellent bike. I have not faced any minor issue so far, not even a single puncture. After 8-9 hours drive on its sofa-like seat, you feel just 1 or 2 hours drive. It is extremely comfortable, superbly powerful bike. Your spine is always in vertically straight position so no bending of back, no back pain at all.
Bajaj is very popular in Bangladesh. They should start 100% manufacturing instead of just fitting nuts & bolts (a.k.a assembly)

We do have our own motocycle brand Dayang runner. It's not rocket science to make a motorcycle. They can but they wouldn't.

Bangladesh doesn't and can't make a single bike because it lacks both the raw materials and engineering skills.. Runner imports the parts from Chinese company dayang and assemble it in Bangladesh, then market it sticking their own sticker..

ty india for a wonderful motorcycle,i have bajaj bm/boxer 150, its the best overall specification here in my country philippines better than any 150cc motorcycles,11.8bhp power beats honda,yamaha,suzuki,also 11.5L Fuel capacity enough for 2 1/2 days of full day running,got 50km/L if standard sparkplug used and 65km/L if iridium spark used,best use with sns suspension,andd need to improve its braking with disc,please continue supply this kind of motorcycle here in philippines,i need someparts ,they starting to pull out this boxer series

I own a bajaj - chethak 1997 and discover 2013 model. The quality that chethak had has no match to the new discover.. This shows the improvement in this company.. I have decided to never buy bajaj products in my life again. If company has discover buy-back, kindly let me know, happy to give it right away.
Yeah same my Father has 1984 Bajaj Supar Solid scooter now due to parts availability its retired. 2004 Chetak still runs today but again Parts problem Built quality was Good👌

No offense it is just my opinion and to my understanding most scooter produced during 80s and 90s they were 2 stroke . Yes it is subject to wear and tare but due to less moving parts , it lasts and it lasts for life.

Ct100,boxer/ct150,ls135/ns125 has same or similar engine designs.i sort parts of this engines and seems they have same parts shared in those engine of units.glad that we can swap parts if some of those units rans out of engine parts.
