C7 definitely underrated! Love how it feels around Laguna Seca. With the FT Pro settings, you can usually let some of the aero off for higher speeds, decrease your ride heights slightly, and almost max the roll centre height offset, setting the rear around 4 points lower than the front to help any rear end stability due to lack of downforce.
Edit: In some cases, softening the rear ARB will also help rear end grip on corner exit if you're wanting to up your mechanical grip due to lower aero.
@@HollisonHusky awesome, thanks for the suggestions, will definitely try. I was really surprised how great it felt and knew it had potential. I've been looking for a car other than the Viper for this track.
@@XboxWanKenobi I would suggest the M6, but that's a little hefty for corkscrew, and tends to do better on tracks where it can stretch it's legs like Mugello, Catalunya, or Spa 🤔
M6 certainly surprised me, as did the KTM Xbow GT4.

I feel like people overlook the C7 because of the C8. They just assume the C8 is better seeing everyone use it. And while the C8 is the much stronger car i feel like that's the reason why nobody gives the C7 the chance it deserves. Decent car! :)
@@LEGEND-xi1jr 💯 that is the reason I didn't try it for so long.
@@LEGEND-xi1jr The C8 is much better for people that aren't great at car control, and for people who want a car that's kind to it's tires. It's easy to drive and isn't going to punish you if you start pushing it hard, unlike some cars such as the Porsches (very rewarding if you can handle them properly)
The C7 might not be as strong until it's set up right. If you get a good setup going then the C7 is basically on rails and is a real good contender!
@HollisonHusky Yeah completely agree👍 The C7 is a very easy car to drive but it lacks power I think and so it struggles. It feels like the viper but much slower. Very planted car and stable to drive.
@HollisonHusky I mainly use the #92 RSR and it's a big handful sometimes😂 pushing it is difficult on some tracks, very pointy car and extremely prone to lift off oversteer which makes it hard to control. I sort of have to turn the car in with the throttle and balance it with the brake simultaneously to keep it together it feels lol bit more work to drive but nevertheless if you drive it right it can be a very strong contender!!🏁
I can do mid 1:24 on mediums in my merc....so I don't think this car is particularly fast....

@@XboxWanKenobi 😂I don’t think so. But thank you for the compliment. Probably the controller is faster around this track… and I do know the merc, how it behaves, a little better
